This one of the most annoying issues I encounter with imported Illustrator files. Others include the number of unnecessary clipping paths and single objects that show up as a group with imported Illustrator files. This plug-in will be a great time saver. Thank you for highlighting it.

There's an endless bunch of frustrating things that I've experienced from illustrating/designing by Adobe Illustrator: - slow system font loading - those extra dirty endpoints caused while using Pencil tool - shape builder tool can't actually recognize gaps - reflection/rotation/scale tool's anchor point cause app freezing while using Wacom tablet (who ever experienced all of these like me btw? 🤣) But, yeah definitely performing selection in a complex artwork with Ai's default selection tool is the far most frustrating thing for me. Thanks for sharing this wonderful Cool Selection tool 👐

Nice review great job, Working with 3d in general is so frustrating for me couldn’t understand how to bring design to life but I’ll learn it eventually

What I find the most frustrating about illustrator is the smart guides. They can be pretty useful but in complex works they just lose all the smartness and moving something becomes an absolute pain lmao

I believe that way of selecting objects is the default method in Coreldraw, and you can hold a modifier key to make it select in the way that Illustrator makes selections. With regard to this plugin though, it's not something I'd be willing to pay money for. The examples in this video would take a little bit of fussing about but I would get those selections done in Illustrator in just a few seconds.

I have three annoying things in mind about Illustrator: first, to use a script you have to go a long way through the menus. Second, it is very frustrating when I accidentally click on the Perspective tool and the perspective grid appears on the screen, that does not close directly. And third, to finish, the way of editing the nodes is quite demanding, if the click distance is not correct then it is not selected, I remember that Corel was friendlier and less demanding with the precision of editing nodes. 2. You can keep turn off the perspective tool short cut and remove it from the tool's panel

Wow this is amazing! Hopefully Adobe makes this apart of illustrator in the future. Most frustrating thing about Illustrator for me is trying to use hot keys right after I’ve finished typing out some text. Or trying to select some thing close to a text object and it keeps selecting the text object instead. 😒

Cool plugin. I usually just select all the things outside of the bird and hide it ... keep on doing it until the bird is left ... then group the bird and move it around like I want to.

The most frustrating thing about Illustrator for me is dealing with unexpected font-related issues. There are times when I open a file created on a different computer, and Illustrator doesn't recognize the fonts used in the document. This situation often leads to text formatting problems, requiring me to manually replace or match fonts.

Before taking the file to other machine just convert the text to outlines....then u will not face font issue

As a college student studying graphic design, I have found that one of the most frustrating things in Illustrator is the inability to change default swatches and typefaces in the startup panel. This would be an easy solution that Adobe could provide to us.

The most frustrating thing about illustrator is no block or long shadow tool. All of the workarounds are imprecice e. g. blend etc. For something so common in typography you would think it would be standard. Plugin looks amazing BTW.

My most frustration is to rename the layer to better organisation. That will be cool a replace option to rename the layers. Also the performance if I have a huge file go very fast down. A setup if I move the view the resolution goes a little bit down. That would also very helpful.

Halftone simplicity like click ad all gradients in halftone to limit colour numbers would be mint can do but it timely

Oh Adobe Illustrator…how I love thee…but, why is the scale tool so finicky when scaling an image (not a vector) from a specific vantage point. The struggle.

Image trace and drop shadow is more frustrating for me in illustrator. I think drop shadow could be more easier with the visual handle while it is active. And also now it is an era of AI. Image trace could be more precise with the help of artificial intelligence. Thanks.

I find Illustrator powerful for most of what I do, but the need for a dimensioning plug-in is sad (but also a problem with Affinity Designer). I do find it frustrating that the distribute spacing is buried in the align panel, and doesn't show up on the top toolbar when context shows alignment options.

The most frustrating thing about Illustrator is... Illustrator itself. Every time I used it I got the feeling the the guys who made it hate the world and humanity. Everything in it is annoying. Just compare it with the workflow in Photoshop and you instantly feel their hate for you, the user. The guides are so annoying, working with nodes is horrific, layer management is a nightmare and you don't even have the simple option from Ps to paste a text without formatting ffs, and so on and so on... When I know I have work to do in Illustrator is from start a ruined day. I miss my Corel times...

Lo que me parece más frustrante de Illustrator es precisamente seleccionar es que cuando quiero crear una copia de una mesa de trabajo no me de la opción de crearla en una capa diferente directamente haciéndome perder micho tiempo.
