Great review as usual Aubrey! For out and out value in daily trainers,outsole wins ! ….followed by outsole,reasonably comfortable works..The Supernova Rise,not to mention stack height as a bonus,checks those boxes.The outsole durability will offset price anyways and Supernova checks both boxes,double value.!

As usual, another excellent and informative video Aubrey, you always say it how it is. I'm lucky to be able to afford the Asics Superblast which, in my opinion, are the best multi-use shoe out there but these three all seem great for daily trainers, the only issue for me is how narrow the Hoka and adidas are as that could be a deal breaker for me! And 'gussetedness' for the Oxford Dictionary!

When you're paying £130-£140, the £10 difference isn't relevant, especially as there are nearly always deals to be had. Based on my recent purchases /sale prices where I live, the cheapest was Novablast 4 (£72), then the Mach 6 (£86), and the Supernovarise (£102) was the most expensive. But most important is to get the most suitable shoes, and if that means paying a little extra, it will be good value. Cheapest isn't always best.

You should check out the New Balance FuelCell Rebel V4s. They’re great for speedy daily runs and speed workouts. If you like stack height, you might not like them because they’re 30/24, giving them a 6mm drop. This lower to the ground feel makes the PEBA foam less super, so it won’t wear off as quickly. Also, it is super bouncy and responsive, like most other new balance shoes that have been on the market recently. The great thing is they’re 140 USD or about 135 Pounds.

I have tried both Supernova Rise and Novablast 4. Unfortunately, for me both of them are excessively plush shoes. I ran my first marathon in Supernova Boost and I ran in Novablast OG. I hold both of them dear, but they have become too plush to do anything but do recovery runs and easy short runs. While I didn't try Hoka Mach 6 yet, I think it will be a better daily trainer that you can use in multiple types of runs. Pay $10 (or pounds in your case) and get Hoka Mach 6. With the new supercritical foam and full rubber outsole, it is a good value.

You’re spot on! The Mach 6 would therefore be the shoe for you given your preference.

I’m don’t have it unfortunately. I make sure that I only talk about shoes I have and have actually ran in. I don’t doubt it’s a true contender

So… here is how I receive shoes. I have chosen to be realistic and not spend money on buying shoes anymore because I have responsibilities so I only review shoes which brands have been kind enough to send. If they send the shoes to me… then yes I will

To this day IT STILL IS a "GOOD PAIR OF SHOES". It's just that, People Nowadays choose to overcomplicate things by being finicky with their disillusions of way toO much weight in "GRAMS" on their feet mind you. We'll leave it there. PUN INTENDED. But Truthfully.

I hear you… but also can’t argue about the strengths of the super trainers and race day shoes for their intended use.
