I use a lot of black makeup everyday; because I am goth. I use mostly ones from maybelline. My favorite black lipstick I use so far from them would be the superstay black matte lipstick.

I know it's probably really simple, but if you ever wanted to to a tutorial on the makeup look you're wearing in this video, i would watch it! You look amazing! :) I love the subtle taupe-y eye shadow with the shimmer.

I did a similar video on blacn lipsticks, I love seeing other people's reviews! The ophra lipstick, I didn't really like it. It wasn't kiss proof and it would get dry and flakey. Not very flattering. I liked the mac one actually. The applicator was nice and it was gliding very smoothly on. It was a little kiss proof tho, it flaked and bled a bit. I really liked smashbox! It was a bit thick and trasnfered a biy easy, but it didnt bleed at all and it was really black. I really liked the blacl moon cosmetics one, it was super black and glid on very nice, but the formula was sooo runny that it got intl my mouth and all pver my teeth super easily. I also struggled with the application because I don't like the applicator. I haven't gotten the rest unfortunatly, but i hope to try them. Gonna watch your first video in this series!

You should try the menagerie cosmetics black liquid lipstick. It has a watery formula but very pigmented

I would love if you tried Beauty Bakerie's black lipstick in Midnight Truffles and see if that one is better than Black Moon's Sleepwalker! I was going to get Sleepwalker until i saw in reviews that it's not completely transfer proof and i need something that is because i don't want my lipstick all over my lip piercings so I tried Beauty Bakerie and I'm IN LOVE!!!!! The only downside is it dries a bit tacky but that's easily fixed with translucent setting powder. It even held up through eating a big greasy burger with only needing a touch up on the inner rim (?) of the lips but that's to be expected with any lipstick and greasy food.

Black Moon’s formula is the best of the best. It isn’t even drying after a day of wear. I splurged like $140 on their lipsticks in one purchase last year and now I have a cart with probably $100 worth of liquid lipsticks I plan on getting during their Black Friday sale, I was having second thoughts, but this video has cemented the fact that they are so good and so worth it. Thanks for this feedback 🖤

There’s Limecrime’s black lipstick, there’s also Sugarpill’s black lipstick, I haven’t tried sugarpills. Limecrime’s black lipstick is a nightmare for me, for some reason the other color I have works & plays nice when applying & taking off. W/ the black however it can be so difficult getting the certain edges & be a little difficult taking it off. I love using it as a back up when I need to do touch ups when I wear MAC’s caviar lipstick. For some reason that lipstick works best when I wear black.

I love wearing black lips! I own only one lipstick from Fenty (mattemoiselle in shade F'n black) just cause I wear it for only few hours (concerts) and wanted more comfortable formula. Great series, keep it up!

Rebel rose is an awesome one. I feel the same about the wet n wild brand. I recently found the grey shade and it doesn't stay on at all.

I'm not very fond of liquid lips so I've ordered urban decays black from their vice comfort matte range in perversion in a black Friday sale. I've not had much luck with black lippies, so many straight up suck so hopefully this one is worth the cash

@@pinkbubblesnake set it with black eyeshadow then spray it with aerosol hair spray but very lightly. Make sure you exfoliate AND moisture really well. You can also use clear eyebrow gel instead of hairspray.

I recently bought the mac one and didn't survive lunch :/ I had the same issue with Rimmel's Stay Matte in the shade Pitch Black :( it starts to make little balls and basically I eat lipstick xD

Honestly the Fenty was the best I had tried at the time- the Black Moon lipstick is leagues better- super conformable and a much more pigment black (both IRL and on camera/video)

Update: Juvias place sent me the wrong color, and it was expired to boot. Had to fight through PayPal to get my money back. Against better judgement I ordered again and the second time colour was correct, but also no seal, gloopy and smelled FOUL

Girl… I purchased Caviar and my first Blackmoon Liquid Lipstick Abyss & MAN!!!! Holy Smokes! I fell deeply in love with this brand instantly!!!! Freaking soft matte formula on my lips! I wish I did not spend $$money on Anastasias Liquid lipsticks because BlackMoon Freaking blew them away. I want to trash the few liquid lipsticks I have by Anastasia and buy every Blackmoon lipstick I can get my hands on before the world finds this Brand Gem🥹😂. Also, Caviar is still in its box and I am returning that lippie TODAY. haha.

Have you tried LipSense Liquid Lipcolor in Blackberry? It is pricey because their gloss is what keeps it from transferring. You do have the option of choosing the gloss finish (matte, glossy, etc).

Ah I actually don't! Usually I just like using the black liquid lipsticks on their own- and if I am going to wear the black bullet lipsticks I tend to just use a different liquid black lipstick as a bit of a liner

Hi there! I just added Juvias place black into my cart. It's still 5$ but seeing as black lipstick isn't exactly my skin tone best friend. I'm buying it as an eyeliner. Wondering if you think that'll work like other liquid lipsticks ? I mean it's not gonna break the bank right

I would just double check with the brand that it is eye/liner safe! The only lipsticks I have used as liner were specifically marketed/announced to also be eye safe. I checked the Juvia's Place website and didn't see any info on it- maybe you could send their customer service email a note asking?

I own a Rimmel London black lipstick and it's not bad although the plastic smell is awful.

Does the smell dissipate after a while or does it always smell like that?

Monica AP The smell fades out after awhile. But the colour has good lasting power because it stayed throughout the day even after food & drinks.

@@MonicaAdrianna I usually buy Kiko in their independent store but I think they have an online store that ships internationally. Hope this helps ^u^ edit: oh kiko has a buy 2 get 1 free for all their lip products always, if youre interested in getting more bang for your buck. They apparently also have very good lipglosses if youre interested. I have a few and enjoy them a lot but Im also very not picky with glosses so i cant really judge. But ive heard others say theyre good.

This is SUPER random so let me start off by saying thanks for the vid. Moving on.. I’ve heard bad things about the ppl that run Juvia’s place cosmetics (like them being racist & what not). & i found it kinda weird that they named their black shade “Doodoo” sure it’s funny however I thought just maybe a black cosmetic line would probably name their black lipstick something like “Black Queen” or some shit. Idk just me I just found it slightly strange.

It's called Dudu, not doodoo as in poop. The word Dudu is Yoruba for "Black", they are an African tribe that resides in Nigeria and most of Western Africa. All of their naming conventions for each product ties back to our roots. Juvia's Place is also a black owned business, so I'm not sure what you're talking about in regards to them being racist.
