i once worked for a miata only shop. we brought on a new guy to do maintenance work and as he got into his first miata to test drive it he says "i dont think i could own one of these.. too small, etc..." 5 min later he gets back and first words getting out of the car was, "my next car is going to be a miata". 4 months later he owned a 93 that he swapped a 04 mazdaspeed engine into. miatas are a very special car, proud to own my special little piece of the miata world

Just got my first MX-5 last week, a 2000 NB1/MK2 LS with 5-speed gearbox and LSD in the back! It has blown shocks and mismatched tires right now (parts on order) but it's STILL a blast to drive 'round corners!

I love the NA, and the new ND, but I'm not too keen on the NC and I don't like the looks of the NB, it resembles an NA but it has suppository-shaped headlights.

You won't regret getting that exhaust. It's the perfect addition to a mk2.

Enjoyed driving my 2016 MX-5 mk3, due to my wife doesn't drive manual gear box. Mine is automatic. Uh.. I know.. Can you tell me if I could modified my motor like yours?(super charged or turbo). So far, I had ibach springs, sway bars, reinforced brace bracket under the chassis, tokico adjustable shocks. Do I need to upgrade my transmission(heavy duty one)? Please let me know..(ie., after market company)
