4:19 SWEET BABY GEBUS the look on Josephs face the entire time made me choke from laughing so hard!!! Goddamnit! You couldn’t script a moment like this! It tells me so much about your relationship in the best way imaginable!! That’s the look that says “yeah I love you with all of my heart but you need to get to the fuckin point ASAP before I snap!” I was just trying to unwind and go to bed too! Oh well! Joseph was on the losing end of that talking segment. The close-up was hilarious enough but the eyes closing just broke me. How can you not love these two wonderful people.

I appreciate the comedic zoom and that you left the clip of Nick talking in. I will have to watch this again to pay attention to what he was saying, I was too busy expressing an unattractive guffaw, but I am glad its there.

Nick I get your meaning about the film Femme. This is how I felt & thought about the film MILK with Sean Penn. The councilman that killed Mr. Milk I believe was denying his True Self and was attracted and hated Mr. Milk all in ONE.

I got to see Past Lives at Sundance this year and it was far and away the best film at the fest this year. Also wondering if you got to see the film Passages at Berlin? Which also premiered at Sundance.

I'm glad you mentioned the Film "femme". It would have deserved an award because it leaves a lasting impression. Unfortunately it was not honored accordingly at the Berlinale.

Sadly lot off these films this year from Berlin to my knowledge have not been acquired by US Distributors.. Still have yet to Check out these movies.

Plus, Joseph adding his comedic gestures and tone makes the segments from becoming too serious and uninteresting. No shade.
