After 20 years in law enforcement I do not recommend carrying an ankle weapon as a primary only as a back up.

I have tried t a few types of holsters and I like the ankle holster best. I am 70 and overweight. I realize I will probably never need to use my weapon. I am not having illusions of grandeur that someday I will save 100 people at Walmart and be a hero and be on Fox news. I would just never want to be stuck with my weapon at home in a drawer and some crazy start shooting up a place where I was shopping. It's the kind of off-the-wall thing that happens enough during your life that doesn't need to happen during you retirement. I have struggled with the uncomforatble IWB and OWB, which are okay if you're paid to wear them, I have carried the pouches, and wearing a jacket is not a seasonal answer in Florida. The very comfortable ankle holster is my best option.

I have had this problem. I have returned several ankle holsters. Thank God I have Amazon Prime.

It is stupid to carry a G19 in an ankle holster. Carry a G26 or a small revolver. PERIOD.
