Hard to argue with any of those! Danae and Adonis awakens are compliment monsters and very well blended!! It really does depend on mood, season and situation to rank the house!!@@TheRealMu-man

You're one of the main reviewers that made me really look into fall of phaeton and i always had tob on my radar but last Saturday i decided to order a full bottle of fall of phaeton and 30 ml tob and i couldn't be more happy with my purchase i just received them yesterday Keep up the great work.

Received Fall of Phaeton. Amazing fragrance. Another masterpiece. Thank you for your recommendation. Now I’m waiting for some Amouages. Now I’m doomed. Can’t go back to clones or designers. This is art in liquid form.

So glad you are enjoying it as much as I am! I did not think anything new from ARGOS could unseat Triumph of Bacchus or Danae for me until I started wearing Fall of Phaeton! Truly a deep, rich, luxurious but also unique spicy, citrus and smoldering fragrance! It goes right in line with the story in fragrance form!! It's tough to go back to that stuff especially clones. There are high quality designer fragrances but as soon as you buy one over something niche, your chances of smelling like someone else automatically goes up 10x or more 😂. This is why even though I fully realize I sacrifice the large number of subscribers and video views that come with reviewing designer fragrances, I only do niche and luxury here because that is what I wear and love.

@@universalfragrance I totally agree with you. Usually the nose develops but if a new nose comes to me I would tell him: “First get New Harlem, then Naxos and then follow Universal fragrances. Forget about Johny Deep. Thank you for your content.

I am a huge fan of this house. I have 7 of their fragrances. I had Love Triumphs Over War, but it was too powdery and feminine for my tastes. I gave it to my daughter. Nemion Lion was the most challenging to me because how animalic it is. It took some wearings to appreciate it. My top 5 are… 5-Danae 4-Pour Homme 3-Triumph of Bacchus 2-Bravido Della Caccia 1-Baccio Immortale

Fall of Phaeton blew me away in the store when I first smelled in. It was my first niche scent. In the meantime I have Carlisle and Herod which I both like a bit more but none of them evolve like FoP. Every 2 hours, it's a new scent.

I have tried Adonis Awakens, Danaë and Pallas of Athens. Out of the 3, I like Adonis awakens the most. Wanting to smell soon the birth of venus and ur top 1 soon!

I wish Argos would sell samples on an individual basis. Having purchased 8 of their fragrances, a discovery set is a little redundant.

I got TOB as a birthday gift for one of my buddies and he loved it, I got a sample of fall of phaeton, and it smells incredible. I'm on the edge and trying to decide if I should wait until September for the 100ml restocking of nemean lion and blind buy it, or just go ahead and buy a full bottle of Fall of Phaeton which I already know I love. I know it sounds obvious which one I should buy, but something about Nemean Lion's scent profule is luring me in, maybe it's the bottle lol. Do you have any suggestions? Also, love your vids man, keep it up.

Appreciate that! I would wait until the restocking since they normally let you bundle two fragrances to save 17% off the total purchase. Well worth it IMO. Nemean Lion is amazing if you like classic, primal, outdoor men's fragrances with some woody, earthy sweet funk.

I will see if I can go back and add them. I stopped doing time stamps on Top 10 videos because analytics showed that everyone would just skip to the Top 3. With this house and many others that would be a shame; even the Pour homme along with many others could be #1 for a lot of people and I do not want people to miss out.

In terms of how good they are....yes!!! As you would expect from the note breakdown they are completely different fragrances. Fall of Phaeton is more suitable for cooler weather IMO

Argos so far is too good to my nose. its well blended, smooth and kinda easy to wear despite of the notes breakdown. so far current favourite of mine : Danae, FoP and ToB

@@universalfragrance may i know your take on Argos Pour HOmme? I am contemplating to get one .. please let me know if its airy soft and luxurious ? i heard its designerish.. please tell me its not

It is more leaning towards designer due to the fresh citrus notes but it has pine, white musk and a nice boozy, British gin note not found in many other fragrances, I find it great for summertime. Pour Femme and Pour homme both lean that direction as they are supposed to be wearable and an easy introduction to the house of ARGOS. For that reason, I never bought full bottles of either although I enjoyed my samples. I would recommend Brivido Della Caccia, Danae or Baccio Immortale if you want something very wearable from the house the feels and smells more niche.

@@universalfragrance thank you for getting back to me. Ok than I will skipp the pourhomme. And another Q abiut baccio. Is it leathery? I never like leather in my perfume collection. Say, Ombreleather n tuscan leather by tomford , or i smelled alot from niche too that has leather, i kinda hate it tho. And do you think this Bacio will do justice for me?

I love some of the rose heavy ones but I get it for sure! Brivido Della Caccia, Argos pour homme, Danae, Nemean Lion, Fall of Phaeton and Triumph of Bacchus should suit you well as none of those have the note of rose in them. 🍻

That is really tough but Birth of Venus (slightly feminine but amazing) or Baccio Immortale are extremely versatile for all weather and occasions IMO

I have seen a sudden surge of videos from a lot of fragrance reviewers on youtube, either including them in ranked lists or doing stand alone reviews of argos perfumes. If really wish you showed us how many of these bottles youre showing here, you’ve received for free and how many you’ve bought with your own money.

Thank you for the comment and welcome to the channel. I addressed this in my older ARGOS TOP 5 video actually. I have not received any fragrances for free from any company including ARGOS. I buy everything with my own money and if I am ever sent anything for free, I will let people know. Purchasing with you own money helps avoid subconscious bias for sure!
