Got the same exact model and it works fine. Idk from photos and this video it looks more of silver rather than black. Also the logo lights up which is pretty cool, but not the main reason why I got it. Hooked it up to a single DVC 4 ohm skar from their DDX lineup while being 12”. Being new I just wanted a sub that was better than my previous one which was Rockfords all in one sub (p500 p12). I get that skar gets a lot of hate for being crappy or because of their shady customer service. I mean it works so far paired with this amp.

It’s a good option then yea, manual sheet says 1,000rms 2 ohm rated, 1500 at 1 but underrated. So even though the amp is 1 ohm stable you can run it at 2 ohm and get clean efficient power. Thanks for watchint 🔊👍

Now as a cheap replacement I bought a Acoustic Razor 2500 lol! $30 at a pawnshop. 2 ohm I'm getting about 600-650. Maybe 7. My speakers still hit, but they'll hit better with 1200 RMS at 2 ohm. 4 gauge I used in this video, my oversized NVX OFC 0 gauge Wire wouldn’t fit when I tried off camera but regular probably would work Will work with reducers amzn.to/3Ky6WPA as well.

@@JacobViral If those numbers are accurate then this is an amp I've been looking for. My system uses 4 gauge so wanted to get something that I can compare to my Rockford Fosgate R2-1200. This looks like it would put out more power even though you wired at 1 ohm but the final impedance is 2 ohm due to box rise?

Yes it was starting at 1 ohm but after rise at that note full tilt it was 2+ohm for the power which means it would do over 2k watts if it was near 1ohm after rise factoring that. Real test always requires subs installed and devices to measure rise and VA, this way is little cheaper but usually within 80-90%.

Good videos too but I have a question for you I have the 1500w XAD version I was thinking of upgrading with the 14 version for more power so I can get closer to the 1200w RMS that my subs can handle If I do this Will I have enough power to run it using the 240 amp alternator I already have. Musical amperage versus raw amps is different no? I want to make sure I have enough power to run my car still and stuff I have a grand marquee. I don't have really any fancy lights or anything. I mostly just run the system nothing else that would be a big draw. I also have a little tiny taramps door speaker amp that claims to put out 400 watts which I doubt that is RMS I would be surprised if it's 30 or 40 watts by four channels RMS so I don't think that is pulling too much power.

yes you can run an amp at 2 ohm, 4 ohm, etc. just rated for less. Amp manual showed the specs in video

Why do most amplifiers even have settings such as bass boost, frequency boost etc. If no one ever uses them cuz it's not good to use them and they are recommended to not be in use?

Yes I’d short run direct to back battery... I would always go by recommended amp though.

You can wire them together down to 1 ohm with 2 D4 Subs. Video explaining wiring subs: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/acqmm9ue0ajHlpc.html ; It's a monoblock so even if there is wire + & - doesn't mean it's not still 1 channel amp but 2 inputs to wire into.

Wire parallel to parallel 4ohm to 1ohm

The power acoustic 2500D razor does put out a fairly good amount of power I will say for Walmart but it isn't that much compared to an amp like this.

U got a fiar point, but also adding to you computers do it with hard drives they way the use storage. Cars use it with brakes an clutches master cylinder slave cylinder but it's tough because we'd have to find a general label that explains the function but can be applied to many things
