I just bought the BNF version and had all functions and modes working on the Radiomaster Pocket Radio with Ranger Nano ELRS module within about 2 minutes. Just program SA, SB, SC and SD in mixer to Channel 5 = (source) SA, 6 = SB, 7 = SC and 8 = SD. If you're radio is normal settings on sticks, you are good to go. BetaFPV configurator does give you some basic functionality of pids and rates. This won't work with Betaflight configurator. If you want something to bash into solid objects at full throttle, look elsewhere, as this will likely break. I am ok with the camera, since I'm using Fatshark goggles. I think the combination of the camera and the goggles with the kit are why some folks have negative comments on the camera. You can't adjust contrast or brighness on the goggles as you can on most. I'm not a beginner but I like it for the long flight times and good looks. I have two complaints: With the big batteries, it has pretty bad propwash on sudden maneuvers and acceleration. The big battery is 1100 MAH and only 15C, this is something like you might expect to fly a camera drone with. The available smaller battery is lighter and much higher C rating. I have some ordered to test for better results. My other complaint is limited channels on the vtx...only B band is available. Fine for backyard flying but at a field, you might have a problem. I would pick the channel nearest Raceband 3 and let everyone know exactly where your are. I would also turn the vtx down below max to avoid interference with other flyers. I am not a reviewer, but I do plan to do a video on setup of the BNF version and comparison of the large and small batteries on the propwash problems.

to me as an fpv beginner it just looks so much better than the white plastic cetus kits (its the mini avata thing that convinced me to purchase it)

i would buy it! Not only for the kids to start enjoy flying but also the aerodynamics of it is very interesting...i bet with a little finnesse one could even place a thumb_pro on it, once it can carry both 1100 and 650 mah battery

Thanks for the vid. I'll buy this set as soon as i have some time. Now i fly tello + dronemask as a whoop. I wanna compare the 2 minis. I think aquila wins indoors, but outdoors the tello. 2 different drones, only the battery is pretty much the same. Let's see

Old post, so you've probably already found this out, but the 1100 batteries included with the kit will not work well for Acro. Get the 650's and it should perform better.

got the eachine EV100 goggles (couldnt focus properley in the supplied box goggles "old man eyes" lol) and they work perfect so even buying them the whole thing has come in under £250 sterling thats a good deal for a nice piece of kit considering i paid almost £400 sterling for my DJI mini 2 SE .We all have to start somewhere and i think this kit is the first step on the ladder 👌👍👍👍

Which tinyhawk kit would you suggest for a beginner? Would you choose this Aquila over it ?

I wonder if the one I picked up is defective, or this is that way it works: Normal mode, slow (or medium, I haven't tried fast yet). It takes a lot of throttle movement to get it go up, as well as a lot to get it to go down... most of the time. Sometimes a little movement works as I would expect. In a simulator, it's fine. Makes me rather nervous to want to actually put on the goggles. Edit: I found that in Sport mode the throttle acts correctly, but I'm certainly not ready to use that mode yet.

I would add the following: the Aquila16 copter is designed only for the BETAFPV Configurator and for the remote controller that comes in the kit, which means that if someone has another remote controller with ELRS, then you won’t be able to customize the copter for yourself in Betaflight and therefore not all modes will work . There is no boozer, the search for a copter is in question. For an apartment, you can’t turn off the air mode, it will stick to the walls and fall where you will disarm it in order to unstuck. There is also regular self-disarming, i.e. turns off whenever it wants. The quality of the fpv camera sucks even for an analogue one. The battery is detached when the copter falls or hits an obstacle. The design is beautiful, but the quality is slag. If to buy it then only as a kit, why would I need the kit if I have good glasses and RC. I just bought a copter and got these unexpected troubles. I don’t see the point in paying such money for that kit.

Awesome video! If I buy the meteor 75 pro later will I have the same 200 meters of range or will I get a little more? And the meteor can handle outdoor with wind better than Aquila?

I watched a video of of another KZfaqr flying it outside and he did report some wobbling and trouble with the wind, even with very very low wind speeds. Did you get a chance to fly it outside and see how it feels?

This is analog. The pico is built for digital. The radio would work but you’d need DJI goggles.

can you check that will it lift 10 grams with 1100mah battery (stock) and maybe smaller battery if you have it. I want to use this drone with run cam tumb, but can the Aquila 16 fly cinematic with 10 grams?

Be careful, the controller Literadio 2 SE is not compartible with AMD computers. You can not use it for a simulation.
