Interesting, I bought a 1080p 240hz VA monitor from Sceptre, and visually it looks pretty much exactly the same as this one. Back side has the exact same lighting, the speakers are in the same spots, the bottom of the stand is hexagon shaped and not v-shaped but it has the exact same mechanism to connect the monitor to the stand, same buttons, etc. Though there are some differences, obviously besides different panels my monitor has 3x hdmi and 1x displayport instead of 2x both, for example. Anyways, nice video.

That’s crazy, I saw this selling for $230 on Walmart’s website, bought it because the feature set sounded good but expected to be disappointed when it arrived. But after watching your in-depth and professional review I’m really excited to see the capabilities of this monitor.

buying 3 after christmas as i already run a triple monitor custom desktop gaming setup.. with standard 1080p monitors. colors suck.. 60hz etc. this will be my first real ips 1440p 165HZ monitor. colors already pop through my mac, pixel 6, iphone XR and iphone 8. so i can already see a major difference. im so hype to pair these with my 3060ti gaming rig..

So the sticker on the monitor says display port 165hz. But you said that the DP were 144hz, Is it possible you got those crossed? and DP is 165hz and HDMI are 144hz?

I bought 2 of these monitors. Image is great. Speakers in the other hand are trash. Also if you are running a dual monitor setting, turning on the left monitor is going to be very difficult. Sceptre should have put the buttons on the bottom.

Is this better than the gigabite G27Q? Do you have the video of the best gaming monitor under $300 Looking for ips, 165 or 144 hz, 1440p, hdr, built in speakers monitor. So far G27Q is the best one I have read about. But it's from 2020. Cannot believe that another monitor haven't come out better than that in 2 years. For under $300. G27Q new is going for $250

Most people will never see 1440p at 165fps. Not on a game they care about playing at the settings they want. Okay... Next gen is coming... Maybe then.

That might be true for some, but that really depends on the game you’re playing and hardware you have available. It’s honestly more of a “nice to have” type thing in case you are able to get your frames that high. Either way, your gameplay will look smooth and crisp 👌🏼
