Excellent vid! You should have more viewers. You take your time and thats really better than most other reviewers. What a difference between ‘old’ and ‘new’. Amazing. I have the three lights on the right and one need no more, they fill almost all needs. Your camera has a typical startup when you start recording. It begins bluish and then goes to the real neutral teint. Both Sofirns and the Astrolux have the same neutral white. But the start makes is almost cold white, even purple. Keep on making vids like this.

I used to be a big store bought light fan till I got educated. I have the Coast HP 450, it is a grand light, however not battery efficient, even with NIMH the light is very involved to replace the batteries, its just a lot of inconvenience to keep up with. The Coast is now on standby, and I now use and have, Lumintop tool AA 2.0, with 14500 3.7 lithium cell, Wuben C3, 18650, Astrolux C8, XPL-HI, to replace my multi-cell lights. These single cell lights are just more efficient, convenient, and just more useful. I still use my multi-cell Coast lights on occasion just to keep batteries at use, however I always use my single cell lights mostly as they are much easier to use. Thanks for the review, well done.

The Astrolux has a tighter more concentrated beam, but the Sofirn Q8 lights up a larger area.

Coast is a good one, i have some of it years ago.
