This was an interesting video as you rarely see non-rack set ups.Truly think people underestimate what can be done with the first few items mentioned here: good adjustable dumbbells, adjustable kettlebells, adjustable bench and pull up bar. Would love to see an all out non-rack set up from you both for those with a much bigger budget but not able to have the space for a rack! I've been thinking about one of the smaller Rogue mass storage systems and a tonne of attachments like UDA, using the 1' holes for pull ups, leg rollers for split squats, band pegs/ battle rope and even a landmine, then putting the Pepin fast series dumbbells and 2x adjustable kettles on the shelves. Maybe plates and a barbell which can be stored on the unit and a quality adjustable bench like Blackwing or manta ray.

Jack, you ask our opinion of whose gym build is better. I'm an honest guy and I tell the truth so here goes. First, YOU WIN by miles. I did not understand his gym build, he didn't even have a bar, plates, or anything hardly that I use. He spent half his build on dumbbells and then the rest was quite frankly, I don't know. He had a battle rope, a neck thing, a yoga ball, a gyro ball, a slam ball etc. I don't know what those things are used for and I have lifted weights off and on since I was 12 years old. He must be a gymnast or something, I just don't understand what his training involves, it certainly is not to get bigger and stronger muscles. Doing his type training will not make your muscles bigger or stronger, maybe he is just going for endurance. He must be into endurance. All he had for quality resistance was a set of dumbbells. You could buy a pair of dumbbell handles and use your own plates. Looking back on your build, I do wish you would've included a pair of dumbbell handles. That would've made your build even better. Leave off the 3 ships free and you have a pair of dumbbell handles. I've seen Johnathan before but he is too animated and fake for me. He acts like he is trying to put on a show for people instead of review gym equipment, he seems an okay guy but just not my cup of tea. I'm just being honest, nothing against him, I just don't go for that cheery animated act. I wish him well but I just don't watch him. You win by far If ones goal is to get strong and build muscles nobody could pick his build over yours. Now if one is going for endurance, then his build wins. I go for bigger and stronger muscles so You Win by a mile

I would go Kensui Adjustabell Max bundle, $199, Bells of Steel Buzzkill with leg extension and roller $650, total $850, Titan Cable tower $279 total $1129, Titan Vertical leg press total $1528, Signature Fitness 2" cast iron 5lb plates x16 from Amazon $100 total $1628 and 4x Signature Fitness 2" cast iron 25lb plates for $200 for a total of $1828, and 3x Essential Everyday black bumper plates 45lbs for $150 for a total of $1978. I like being able to do leg extensions and press, with less space than a power rack. This is a total of 415lbs which is enough to max out the Titan Vertical Leg press (and plenty of weight being vertical is economical with weight), Also enough to max out the Titan Cable tower. There is a small gap though, in that you can't make 45lbs dumbbells, you have to go from 40lbs (4 5lb plates on each side of both dumbells) to 50lbs (one 25lb plate on each side of both dumbells), by declining the bench and using leg rollers you get to work abs or cable crunches with the Titan Cable Tower, and by having the leg extension you get to work the muscles that the leg press won't, in addition to dumbell RDLs. The heaviest you could go on a Dumbbell is 90lbs apeice, which I think will fit with the long screws included in the bundle with a 25lb plate and 4x 5lb plates on each side of both dumbbells.
