Whether you're in the studio, on the beach or hiking in the mountains,
the Induro carbon fiber line of tripods are some of the best tripods you can get for the price
Induro has 3 Series of Carbon Fiber Tripods
Series #2 has 24mm Dia. main Leg section
Series #3 has 36mm Dia. main Leg section
Series #4 has 44mm Dia. main Leg section
Of course, each series has a different amount of sections and the
height is different for all models.

Hey the long center extension is also used to flip upside down with the camera attached so it can be used closer to the ground, if the extended legs can not be appropriate.

Gotta ask as a fellow Micro Four Thirds shooter using a Leofoto 364+ tripod, why the heavy artillery for the small camera that also has class leading IBIS? LeoFoto uses standard sizes for all of their leg sections, so I combined the top three sections of a 364 (36mm top section, 4 sections) with the bottom 3 sections of a 284 (28mm top section, 4 sections) to create an 8’ tripod that still closes down to 24”. I shoot over crowds and fences and walls a lot…

Not bad. You should have got the Leofoto 364C or 324C Tripod w/FLM hardware.

Hey Rick, based off many reviews (yours included) and some personal friends recommendations, I am purchasing this tripod. I am also getting a ball head with it. Being that you've used the Induro BHL3S and the RRS BH-55 (and have had some time with both at this point), with money being no issue, just stability, which ball head would you recommend pitting these two against each other? I intend to use this setup with a star tracker for astrophotography as well as normal everyday nature/landscape.

@@subliminus Really just depends on what you plan to do most If you plan to do mostly video then go with a Fluid Head but if you plan on mostly photography then go with a ball head Pro Media gear also sells an awesome Ball head I did a review on last year and ended up selling my Really Right Stuff BH50 and keeping the ProMedia Gear Ball head Best of luck If you talk to Pro Media Gear (You can call them) Make sure you tell them you saw my videos

I use a Sony nx5u camera. I am sure the tripod would hold it. but what ball mount do you recommend with a handle so I can pan. ? Thanks Keith

It looks a lot like some Chinese carbon tripods. I have one of them it seems identica with the same very good characteristics. At a fraction of the cost (130 euro for one with 33 mm leg with and 157 cm height without centre column)….

Uumm kind of...... It's very big and a bit heavier than I thought it would be Which is what I wanted for in studio work But now that I purchased the Promedia gear tripod www.promediagear.com/TR344L-Pro-Stix-71-inch-Carbon-Fiber-Tripod-w-34mm-diameter-legs-4-Section-Long_p_328.html That is my recommended tripod kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ptSHZJx2ybqdg3U.html However if your on a budget and you need this height and heavy duty tripod then the Induro is the best for under $600
