I really like the Arteza Gel Pens because they come with refills. If you purchase a lot of art supplies with Arteza and join their rewards, you get points to use towards the purchase of art supplies. I liked them when I swatched them. My favorite are the glitter ones

Thank you for the gel pen demonstration. The timing couldn’t have been better. I was just heading down to the store to get some new jelly pans. We only have one place to buy them in town, and your demonstration was extremely supportive and productive for learning about a different brand. Right now I’m sticking to Sakura. I have only had one white Sakura dry up. Skipping and opaque-ness are issues, once they are older

Dot from UK Thank you for the video, some very surprising results. I would have thought that the refills would have match the main set colour for colour. I'm going to watch your video on white gel pens as I've just started doodling on black card. I hope I will be able to buy your best white gel pen in the UK. Happy new year to you and hubby. Compatible -- but when a "green" refill is added into a purple-capped barrel, that could get confusing as you are seeing the cap color inside your storage container. They seem to write/flow very well. Good pricing.

I saw your video about the Zerbra 40 pack of gel pens. I love using the Pentel Milky for my mix media landscapes. The color pops perfectly on my Stratmore black mix media paper, and I can also use a watercolor brush the spread the pigment. The only reason I was commenting is that my director from my studio gave me a pack of ohuhu gel pens. They don't have a lot of colors but it seems to be a more budget friendly gel pen.

You answered everything I wondered about. Especially if the small sets contain the same pens as the large 60 set. The information about the refills was very illuminating! I ordered the 60 set on Cyber Monday when they were super reduced down to £6.97 (about $10). Looking forward to receiving them.

I have a set of 60 Arteza gel pens that I purchased some time ago. I was happy to see you review them. Here's the deal - Arteza has 2 different sets of 60 gel pens - the set you have which comes in the cardboard box, and the set I have which comes in a clear plastic box. The set I have matches the colors in the refill set that you have, which makes me happy because I didn't know they sold the refills.

Oh! Wow what a pain! I didn’t even see a 60 set that came in a plastic box. Maybe that’s an old set? Too confusing. I’m looking for a brand I can consistently recommend.

Thank you, this is a very timesaving video. I think Arteza and their confusing "system" can't be a go-to gel pen solution. I've crossed Arteza off my list after seeing your review. Especially here in the UK, I think Chromatek is the only reliable and sensible option that I see so far.

These little houses are such a nice idea for crafting with children in this season. You can build a whole Christmas village. I also like your idea with the light. I think it would give a really nice effect if you glue some transparent paper behind the window. Especially if you use them in different colours. I really love your videos. Can't wait for the next one.

👍Hey, Jennifer, I always appreciate when I see product demos & comparisons. They help me to decide where to spend my limited funds wisely. A few months ago, I bought the pack of 14 Arteza metallic gel pens just to try gels but am disappointed in their color selection (no yellow or brown although gold & bronze can sub). I expected the colors to be more "vivid" as the packaging says they are supposed to be. I have seen demos on Pinterest that were deeper toned & drew more smoothly. Guess I will be searching for something better. Looking forward to your white gel comparison! (do not have one of those either), but have heard that Posca is excellent! Thank you! 🤗

The Arteza white gel pens are amazing, these are the best I've used so far from all of them. Their customer service is exceptional. I've never had an issue with gel pens drying out, perhaps your climate is a problem? I'm in the UK and mine have never done it, I use Signos, Gelly Roll and the Arteza ones.

Putting the gel pen in a cup of really hot water (tip down) can restart the flow as well. I’ve done this with my sakuras.

I love your professional filming setup! What software do you use that links the devices together and allows you to switch camera so smoothly?

Thanks! It took us a long time to get things running so smoothly and it still doesn’t work all the time. Our software is called Switcher.

I really like Arteza. I have the 120 colored pencils, 72 Inkonic fineliners, and the 20 retractable gel pens and like them all. Have not tried the white ones. Love my Uniball Signo.

I've got a Uniball Signo white "broad" pen. It's also dried up and I've tried a variety of methods to revive it. Nothing has worked so far.

i almost got these but i seen a pack of 48 on Amazon called Silk,i ordered those and in a pic on the back of the box it had some unique color names like a neon strawberry jam and shamrock green,a glitter obsidian etc....idk if i have or seen these colors and just don't know them by these names or if they're indeed different but i have around 1,200+ gel pens and 100 Crazart colored pencils lol so if i think I've found new colors.....oh yeah I'm getting them,but...that awful word in gel pen land but,Silk had alot of negative reviews recently too so i may be headed to refund land but they did have some 5 star reviews that were older..sorry for the long msg but before i go i just wanted to say that it's hard to imagine a better white than GellyRoll white..haven't tried Uni-Ball Signo but still it's a hard sell,thanks Jen n Steve love the channel 👏👏👏🔥🔥🖊

I bought some costco brand gel pens, they were very good. Had no issues with any of them. I am surprised though that no manufacturer or brand has come out with a good set of colours like pencils do as gel pens are very. popular but limited in their uses with the colours available now. I generally only use sparkle/glitter ones for small highlights in my colouring pages.

I don't like to post negativity but I unfortunately had very very bad luck with the arteza gel pens and I just threw them all away a couple days ago I had to set up 60 and I'm never going to buy gel pens again I'll just stick with colored pencils.

FineLife premium gel pens in a pack of 30 are so much better than Arteza. I'm with you. They are junk. Drawing a straight line and a wavy line doesn't show you how they handle when coloring.
