I have owned several Chrome books and a Chrome box. After finally purchasing a touch screen chrome book i would never go back. Having a touchscreen Chrome book is having the best of both worlds you wont be sorry 😁

I have a HP Chromebook that is expiring on June 2024, and for the Best Tab-Computer 2-In-1 performance, I choose The Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2.

The fact that the Google Pixel Book Go made this list automatically indicates that this isn't a good list. There is no way a device 3-4 years old should be on this list.

Why? It's still powerful, features 16gb ram in it's top trim, has top of class battery life of up to 15 hours, it's passively cooled so it's extremely light and quiet and it's arguably the most premium chromebook ever made. The CPUs are outdated for top end linux development scenarios, but for 99% of uses cases they're still overkill. It's a brilliant chromebook, I own a 16gb i5 model and am struggling to find a replacement of equivalance.

@@Mantenner because there are many machines with 16gb of RAM since then and faster processors. Acer Chromebook Spin 713 or 714 kills it. Asus CX5 kills it.

I have the duet since they launched, this is the best chromebook experience I ever have. I can put it into my jacket pocket with no problem , long battery life and good touchscreen. The only bad thing is that you can not use it with keyboard without a table or board. I definitely will buy other duet version tablet / chromebook if my one is dead.

@@walnoremac I just bought the Duet 5, which has a 13.3-inch OLED screen. It's an amazing machine. Has 8GB RAM and runs very smoothly. Even VS Code runs very well on it!

I picked up a used HP Pavilion 15 laptop running Windows 11.. Once it arrives, I will install Chrome OS on it myself. Only cost £210 and the specs are really decent too!!

For audio I will stick with HP. Acer are reasonable on others area but let down by sound.

You have google docs in the apps, once you finish your document you can convert it to pdf or word to send it.

I don't own one but missing the Lenovo Chromebook Flex 5i with the with 11th gen Core i3 processor is inexcusable. Good 1080p screen, back lit keyboard, and blazing speed, all for $299.99 is a bargain in any book.

Best if money isn't an issue is the HP Dragonfly Pro, best budget could possibly be the Acer 317.

my old flip screen flipped out and broke the hinges on both sides, eventualy, but still works, somewhat,. no more flip for me

I have just a question can I put Meet Chrome OS Flex on a win11 laptop to change the OS? I don't like w11 that much as I am joining online courses and win 11 always seems to freeze me especially in recorded online exams.....

This list is bad. If you're talking about "best", RN it's the HP Dragonfly Pro. Acer and Asus both have newer, faster chromebooks than whats on this list. Even when they said Acer had an 11th gen i5 the picture in the vid showed an 10th Gen. These people didn't even try.

HP hinges are garbage. My laptop fell apart on the hinge twice. And I was super super careful with it. Junk plastic. Will never ever buy another HP.

E Walker not @ewalker1057 - I said I would never purchase another Chromebook. I purchased one when they first emerged. The update time period was very short. So after a few years it was useless. I recently let someone convince me to purchase another one. The time period to service and update is ; longer. Now it keeps losing internet service even though it's working on other devices in my home. Learned my lesson this time.
