Respect to the teacher for caring more about his student than the policy. He was going to let her leave and take the call privately (if it had been serious, but she insisted for the joke) and even apologized.

Oof. This just shows how awesome of a teacher he must be. They were willing to show him the flaws with his policy WITHOUT attacking him, and made it a super cool learning experience for him. Great job students, and great job teacher for handling that with grace.

That was the best. One time my kids pranked me on April fools day. I had been out and and when I returned I was busy and putting things away. My daughter then said, somebody called for you about your business and she needed to talk to you about something and she was hoping you could call her right away. Here’s the note well I looked at the note and it said to call Miss Camel so I figured she wanted to purchase something that I was selling so then I called the number and they answered it and said it was the zoo and not even realizing what I was doing. I asked if Miss Camel was there. As soon as the words came out of my mouth, I realized what had happened, I quickly hung up, and we laughed and laughed and laughed for hours over that.
