Sorry for the late response Dill is the ingredient! I wouldn't recommend changing it. It will change the whole taste... Dill is the signature ingredient in tarator! Hope you can make it and enjoy it 😃

Please do NOT confuse people, no one but no one calls this COLD Summer Soup, what kind of a joke is this. This is called TARATOR period. When and where did you hear in Bulgaria some one to call it "cold summer soup"?

You are correct about people not calling it "cold summer soup", they just call it tarator. This is true for Bulgarian people. However if you do some research you will find out that in the "books" and other countries tarator is described as cold milky soup. And I am using this description to clarify what tarator is, mostly for people who have never heard of tarator. Thank you for stopping by and for your comment!

@@JanYi2023 Mnogo blagodaria! Radvam se, che razbirash ideyata. Mnogo mi se iska poveche hora da znayat za nashite Bulgarski neveroyatni vkusotii. Zatova se nalaga da gi obyasnyavam malko po razlichno. A Bulgarite si znayat za kakvo ide rech :-) Oshte vednuj blagodarya! 👍
