The two advantages I see are no income tax and close proximity to India. The disadvantages I see are - 1. No social security for job loss, health care. If something is not covered by health insurance, financial loss 2. Immigration insecurity, cannot take off from a job and explore anything else 3. Less pay, although that might be subjective and dependent on location 4. Very high cost of living in Dubai

I agree with your points. I'm staying in Europe and i believe travelling every year is a costly affair with family. But, selected countries in Europe have better tax benefits for Expats if their profession can add any value to their country. However, I was planning to make to Dubai if i strike a better deal than in Europe. In meanwhile, i found a good video for comparison. Most important thing- is i will be closer to my house and i can travel to my home for most of the festivals and i believe every Indian will agree to it. Nevertheless , If i can get answers to the below questions asked, then most of us shall have clarity.

Weather is a bit subjective…I find Dubai weather to be hot most part of the year…cant step out of the hotel room..although I’m comparing it with Bengaluru which is one of the best city weather wise

Hi, Nice video but this is little biased towards Canada. As per my knowledge, summers exist from April till mid oct. I went there last year in Toronto for 3 weeks and it was sunny in Oct as well. Also, salary growth is a subjective topic globally . 2-3% may be true but ain't credible. Also even in Toronto public washrooms are also very clean. Furthermore, people getting home sick and depressed is an individual situation. One can even get home sick by living in Gurgaon and having parents staying in Chandigarh. These are just my thoughts. But appreciate your content. !

Nice videos but just for the sake of discussion and awareness want to laydown few imp pointers and please tell me what you think about these A) Dubai is not a democratic country , its a kingdom ruled by rulers so you will always fear till your stay ki "yaar yahan ke citizen se kuch nahi bol skate" you will always have sense of insecurity in you B)Even if u earn so much but you will never get equality as their citizens get. Be at work, be at public places. I have been to dubai expo and found that few sheikhs came and sat in a seperate place whereas other people r sittin in normal places you dont see this in any democratic country C) You can challenge law or goverment decision which sometimes i feel people availed durimg their visa processing. Whenever i call visa office to enquire about my visa status they always respond in a harsh manner where canadian are damn polite D)I stayed in diera , and trust me people stare at girls very badly which makes them very very umcmfrtable but can you imagine this in canada? E) Dubai is good country to stay for few years, for tourism, to work for few years and that you can get after getting canadian PR or canadian citizenship as well

Consider - 1. If a Canadian citizen or PR loses their job, they get unemployment insurance 2. Salaries are both job and company specific in Canada. There’s no such thing as 2-3% growth. It could be 0-unlimited 3. PR times are very reasonable in Canada if one can qualify. Qualification bar on the points based system is pretty high though 4. Every developed country has washrooms with toilet paper 😂

Agar canada mai job gayi tabh bhi PR hai toh you can stay you would get most amount from govt dubai mai 3 mahina nahi mili toh there is a problem even unemployed you can stay in canada if you are a PR not in dubai

You haven't cover another point. If you are Canadian your starting salary in Uae is more than Indian gets. And your childrens can study in Canadian schools where Indians not allowed. And there are so many benefits when you are Canadian working in Uae. So passport is not just a piece of paper it's your identity.

That is an extreme case. You take all the pain to become a canadian citizen, live there for some years and come back to UAE to take benefit of Canadian passport. That is an extreme situation. Did you do this yourself?

I must admit both the parts are extremely biased. I have lived in Dubai and now in Canada. I can vouch that you will regret not moving to a Western county earlier in your life if you want better future for your kids. The extreme climate of Canada mentioned in this video is so misleading... it's not that it only keeps snowing 8-9 months here. Also there are places like British Columbia which has not so extreme weather. Also, the no labor or house help is again misleading.

No taxes applicable on any gain in dubai. You can invest anywhere jn world. But u will hv tp pay capital gain to that country, like we pay tax to indian government on capital gain in stock markets

I understand that you have settled in dubai so your opinions are biased towards it. A few points I would like to add for discussion: Being a realtor is a lucrative career in Canada. There is a proper course one has to complete to get a realtor’s license in Canada. So it’s not another random job. Yes, weather is harsh in Canada but not all year round. Moreover, weather is not a big deterrent in deciding whether or not to make Canada a home. Canada has been welcoming thousands of immigrants on various visas every year and numbers are increasing only. There are reasons why one moves out or wants to move out of India. Whichever foreign country fits them and one is able to make a living, people would settle there irrespective of its distance from India. Yes, from dubai you can travel multiple times in an year to India. But in Canada, if you are a PR you can invite your parents to come to live with you just not on a tourist visa but also on super visa and in some cases as a PR as well. These were my 2 cents. I have also lived in dubai for a few years but I am for Canada any time over dubai.

Totally biased video. 1. Harsh winter in Canada is only for 3-4 months. 2. Immigration cost per person is around $1500CAD/person (Rs 90k) which can easily be recovered by 1 month part time job (min. wage). 3. Yes you do pay taxes in Canada but they also provide job security by paying Employment Insurane in case you loose your job (btw part time minimum wage employees do not have taxable income so they dont pay taxes). 4. Medical check up and surgery is free and cost of medicine is covered by employers upto 80% in Canada. 5. Your parents can live in Canada upto 7 years with you. If lucky they can even get PR. 6. Free education fo kids in schools. And you can get upto 50% in grants for futher univ. education. 7. You get child benefit money to raise your children which can be invested in govt. scheme (RESP), thats will acumulate enough money till grade 12th so that you use that money for your kids univ. education. 8. Most importants is, freedom of everything. Right to vote, right to speak, protest, right to equality(At the end, it is a democratic country) 9. And yes, important thing is that Canada provides you pension after retirement which is good enough to live as a middle class family after retirement (in some cases employer also provide you pension benefits which is additional to govt. pension). So, paying taxes are also worth it upto some extent) 10. Canada is a developed 1st world country. 11. Yes, dubai do have some advantage. But, you need to loose few things to gain many things.

It's true... Only in gulf you can earn more... In Canada n other countries you won't get paid more... Even if u get paid more, you will lose half of ur salary in means of tax....

No it's not true. They are giving 10 year golden visa to doctors and scientists etc.

Watching your video, I somehow feel that you were deperate to come to Canada but somehow could not.😂😂 I am sure, if you get chance (qualified enough), you surely will settle in Canada. 😅😅 Majority of people who commented in favor of dubai have not even stayed in canada i guess and just saw this video to make their perspective rgarding both places. May be they appreciate the video you made but do not have enough experience to judge your points. Or may be they are still deciding in where to move, dubai or Canada and making their judgement based on you video. You favored dubai in reference of immigration. Do you even have any idea how Canadian immigration works. When you said that Canadian immigration takes 2-3 years of processing time, then and there I suspected about your knowledge of Candian immigration. Lastly, are pubic washrooms even topic to compare? Do you think anyone will change their decision to go to canada bcoz they have toilet papers? I mean, you can buy bidet for $20/30 and fit it on their own at home atleast. And if you are a Canadian citizen and than you plan to settle in dubai that is completely understandable. Atleast you have choice to go back to Canada if needed in future.

If we want, we can settle there tomorrow, but we don't want to. We are mature enough and wise enough to call a spade a spade. We don't live in fantasy world. We analyse things and make decisions based on core facts. Which we already shared in 2 videos of dubai vs Canada. Now regarding comments, read comments of people who are already living there and are agreeing with these points. Are you happy with your medical and healthcare facilities? Are u happy with the extreme weather, with doing your household activities daily? No househelp? Are you happy with the long flights and the fact that in emergency situation if you hv to go back to India, you will face lot of challenges and will take more than a day to reach? There arw many drawbacks. Like we said I video, we showed facts. Its upto you to decide based on your priorities in life. What is you need from your life. Anyhow.
