Dude every time I get frustrated because I'm getting totally smoked by opponents all of a sudden I come back and watch one of your vids..9 times out of 10 I win the first game I play after watching a new vid from you..as I did today. There will be no smashing of controllers today because of your tips and strats. Thank you.

This game is not worth smashing controllers, don’t get mad at a game that’s not perfect my dude, this is by far one of the most frustrating nhl games I have ever played.. too many glitches, phantom penalty’s, own goals do to not being able to pick up the puck. I’ve been playing since the sega days…. You will lose games that you deserve to win! Good lucky and have fun

Love the videos dude, best NHL content by far... I'm wondering though, did they mess with the tuners sometime after the first week? Gameplay felt so much different (better) to me when the game first launched, but now it's feeling exactly like NHL 21 again with the magnetic puck and dudes just dancing around all game looking for the shortside wrister. Maybe it's just me, but things definitely feel different.

Looking forward to the goalie video because it really feels like once again goalie ratings mean nothing in this game. Base Hellebuyck has 86 rebound control (and not to mention, great size)...and people just toss it off his pads for cheap garbage on the backdoor. Meanwhile, there's 81ovr goalies that vacuum up everything. EA gonna EA, I guess.

EA is getting obnoxious with their daily objectives! Take today’s for example.. you have to go into four different areas of the game just to get one flipping seasons card! Kind of a jerk move if you are also trying to get some Hut champs/rivals or SB games in on top of all of that!

I think so assuming you have a decent team already and can be patient with buying the players off the auction house at good/fair prices. Don't bother with the prices of the set players that are price locked unless you can snipe them for a reasonable price.

Don't like that strategy in my opinion. I rather do full forecheck (2 guys getting after puck carrier in offensive zone) the puck is your best friend must find way to score goals. Not having puck can lead to opponents wasting time for top and increased penalties because you are going to be impatient.

NO MATTER how hard I defend, I get beat by those broken cross crease one-timers because my defender, that's suppose to be defending the far post, is never there and I'm in the middle protecting the net. They always find a way to sneak it across and it's BS.
@tjl8884
@tjl8884 2 жыл бұрын
I try not to chase with my D in my own zone. I use the centre or winger. This means, if the defensemens D awareness is high enough, they should be in a position to stop those cross crease passes. You also have to look at their abilities, some have better def abilities than others. Always try to use defencemen who are defensive over guys who are offensive defencemen. Also set the strategy to protect the net/collapsing. That should keep the D in better spots. But the real key is not to run around in your zone with the D men at all. Unlike what the video poster says, its not a good idea. So let the A.I control you D when you don't have control in your zone. So if the puck is in your corner, let the ai def chase it and park your center or winger in front of you net to intercept the pass. The poke check will also deflect passes and shots so spam that too when the pass is going cross crease. I've saved tons of goals by doing that and timing the lay down/block pass.. I've watched my brother play this game, he's not bad at it but he always takes control of his D men and he ends up giving up a ton of cross crease goals like that because he is way out of position. Since I've told him what I tried telling you here, he isn't losing by 5 goals online anymore. The games are much closer. My personal problem with this game is I can't seem to protect the puck and have a hard time getting time on attack. It seems most guys I play have perfect poke checking and I can't seem to knock them off the puck or pick up lose pucks. I don't know what Im doing wrong. Even breaking out of my zone, I tend to lose the puck constantly at their blue line. I just can't seem to out skate them or get by their D very easy, yet I see guys doing some weird toe drag moves and burning my D all the time. But for some reason I can't do it back to them. It almost like if they come near my pick carrier, they pick the puck off with ease or bump him off it easy. Yet when I do it, I can't even knock the puck off them after hitting them or if I do, they somehow pick up the puck right away and keep going with it. It drives me crazy.. I absolutely hate the poke check spam in human games.. It way too overpowered

If you want buttons and stick skills use hybrid, skill stick is used if you want realism. Nhl 94 should be used if you like simple controls. But practice makes perfect, use skill stick for all dekes. Hit the practice gym in nhl 21 on the ice and go to training, you will receive results, it's the same concept controls as nhl 22, guaranteed. Better idea if you have ea play nhl 21 is at the vault download that it's free no money needed. Controls are the same for nhl 22 as last year.
