Forgot to mention, would've been cool to benchmark some lighter games since you've got that 5600G in there. Would be good for some to have those with this configuration. It would definitely run Fortnite, rocket league, rogue company. Just a thought, also might be good for some extra views since a lot of people that are in the market for these kinds of computers would like the light gaming aspect about this 5600g and dual channel RAM. Yes, it is fine for an inexpensive office desktop. I do not play games, just use it for communications, Internet access, and the Libreoffice Suite. It was the least expensive desktop at the big box store, but still more than I need, with AMD Ryzen 5 5600g, 256GB SSD, 2TB HDD. I left the Windows 11 and MS Office on it, but added Ubuntu Linux 22.04 and a bunch of Linux-compatible applications. Both OSs and the applications fit fine on the SSD, with about a third of it still empty. I will never come close to filling the 2TB HDD.

Would a 1650gtx gpu work well to turn it into a gaming PC. I can pick one up one of these PC's used for $200 and the graphics card for like $100. So for $300 id have a "gaming PC". I just don't know if that power supply is strong enough

Hi my hp pav500-p0205a will not allow me to open. will not accept my password or security info. tells me password hint s delete?? and says that Auto Adjustment in progress and yes its been over a month and I have tried everything on the internet to open it but nothing works..i purchased it of market place so no warranty. hope you can help Raylene Wood

My friends opened an old storage area on a property they inherited and there were literally 20 old HP pavilion a250n computers that were sporting intel 2.5GHz Duo Cores, 32 GB of DDR 2 Ram, and each had 150 GB 7200 rpm HDD. The date on these were from 2003. They all had Windows XP Professional. This was just 2 months ago. They know I was able to get a couple 12 year old PCs running windows 11 on them and wanted me to experiment with one of these machines. Funny enough all I had to do was do a couple minor mods on the XP registries and I got the damn things to run just fine and still running windows 7 without crashing or burning up. LOL. They wanted me to try and push them to run windows 10. I told them install Linux or recycle them. LOL.

Same chassis and power supply as the acid green machines and some of those have the same power supply but in 400 watt.

Update: I said one third of the 256GB SSD was empty. I got tired of Microsoft wanting me to establish an account with them just to run an OS for which I paid. Easy fix; I don’t use it anyway, so I got rid of it. Now, only about a tenth of my SSD is being used, for Ubuntu and a bunch of Linux-compatible applications. I’m going to upgrade my RAM to 32GB, but I’ll ignore Crucial’s suggestion to upgrade my SSD.

I can get refurbs for half the price with the same specs or even upgrade an old computer to be better than this. The case and expansion is terrible.
