I've seen 2 drummers do something similar - and I've tried it - doing anything more than an 8th note roll with another person is a *lot* harder than you think it is. Doing 16th note rolls that are that clean - is really quite impressive.

@@blueknigh7 The real problem is that your brain naturally want to sync up with the beat when you're handling the offbeat notes. It pretty much gets exponentially harder the faster you play. Nailing 8ths on the offbeat is not something people do without practice, nailing 16ths is downright impressive even for two drummers.

@@DJBrianOBrien 1st band to open for Ozzy solo (Blizzard of Ozz tour with Randy Rhoads) when they toured the US (High & Dry tour...only their 2nd album...& they were picked to open for Ozzy on his 1st solo tour)... & They blew Ozzy off the stage... Don't get me wrong...Randy was the star of the show...but.. Def Leppard made Ozzy look like an amateur for pure energy on stage.

Was actually impressed at the 16ths. That’s not an easy feat at that speed. Especially in the mid-show adrenaline, super easy to flub that timing then EVERYTHING is off. Good job!

Opened up a different debate, yeah for me Bonham, moon , Baker and the brilliant mitch Mitchell were awesome drummers but Peart took it to another level even 2 levels which won't be surpassed unless you have twice as many limbs, even then you have to have the knowledge to craft out a drum solo RIP the professor.

I wouldn’t undermine what they’re doing, it’s pretty difficult to do anything 16th notes and above when it’s two different people playing one drum with only one stick in their hands. Marching bands use stuff like this in a really cool way when they’re performing.
