you cant ban cheaters instantly, because then the cheaters know what settings flagged the anticheat, bans are done in waves so its hard to engineer bypasses for the anticheat as you dont know what flags and what doesnt

It prevents the hackers from wising up and changing their method. You ban just one person, they say "hey I got banned for using leetsuperhax, its no good anymore" People stop using leetsuperhax, and start using something else thats undetectable. It's better to wait and remove as many hackers as possible, cherry picking them as they pop up results in many more adapting their strategy and staying undetected.

lmao you mentioned the "Observer effect", though on second thought, it sorta is an inherent side effect by simply existing in this universe. And yea there's probably more efficient ways that may be implemented to cull certain data and minimize server traffic.

my teammate and I needed 50 points (basically playing out our last game) and we both got no scoped by a cheater. I got no scoped out of the air.

1:10 it’s cause the way easyanti cheat works, it’s something to do with not banning loads of hackers at once to make it harder for hackers to figure out what is getting picked up, cause if they change a hack and they get banned straight away the hacker knows that didn’t work but if they wait it’s makes it harder to figure out what is getting picked up. Or atleast I’ve heard that. They then go on major ban waves.

That doesn’t mean they can’t ban blatant hackers being reported by the community, you don’t need an anticheat to know they’re cheating

i genuinely believe that fortnite could be one of the greatest esports of all time but they really need to work on performance and server issues the games in tournaments and even ranked and so laggy and delayed i could never imagine playing fncs lobbies if fortnite managed to fix these issues and have an fncs where every player can play without so much lag it would be so much better

iam programmer and hacker in training myself, and hackers dont imediatly get banned because they find ways to bypass anticheat with a certain code in the script thats never been detected before, its also depends on how good the cheat is written. Hackers can cheat easely because the system needs to detect the cheats, then they get banned. Its really difficult how it works but its really simple to bypass anticheat, any anti cheat basicly

you cant ban the cheaters instantly because it makes it easier to cheaat because you can keep tweaking your cheat until you can find what being detected really quickly

aussie you should do some research on why almost every game does ban "waves" instead of insta banning them. It's to make sure that the hackers don't know what setting was detected in their anti cheat as it's over a long period of time. Don't spread misinfo

Cheating seems to be rampant this season more than ever just like the ridiculous glitches FN is shipping. If FN wouldn’t focus on stupid over graphic hogs and things like a useless train, the game will run millions of times faster.

That’s why fortnite should focus on solos, servers work better on solos because games are less stacked because there’s no reboot van, in solos if u die u just die and that rng factor solos bring might help the severs in return. People might not solos being the main game mode in all honesty it’s best for the horrible servers

solos is the worst one and the pros hate it. basic math will prove you wrong. if its solos then that means there is 100 players with 100 teams meaning 100 drop spots. which isnt possible. as far as i know on the current map there are not one-hundred drop spots that can be allocated for 100 players. and if there is 100 then the last 10 spots are probably complete shit and all youll have is a grey pistol for late game. even in the world cup solos Bugha got contested in Lucky Landing. and contesting off spawn isnt good for the competitive scene as it is seen as a 50/50. even in this video we find out that Reet & Ritualx died off spawn twice which is crazy. contesting off spawn is TERRIBLE for the comp scene. with duos you only need 50 drop spots which works out barely. and who cares if solos runs better? a better solution would be to fix the servers for duos not switching the game mode. bc if they never fix this problem then that means there can NEVER be a duo fncs. they need to fix the problem instead of avoiding it.
