The game had been a little boring to me ive kinda switched to cod

personally i still play a lot almost lvl 400 but this season is boring there is no mobility its so slow and since last season not many things changed

For me, the reason why I’ve stopped playing this season is the map. The map is the worst map I think we’ve ever had. There isn’t one location where it’s like a go to or where you know hella people are going to go. No location like sweaty, anvil, brutal, agency, coney, and more

cause only pros are running around with 0 ping and everyone else has 50+ its unfair and thats why peterbot can even get 40+ kills sad.

I just feel like fortnite is not everyone's first option, Cod just brought back rebirth, and Siege is HUGE right now. It doent help that fortnites kinda boring rn.

the last straw was when they changed the movement, catering to casuals skill level but losing loyal talented players

Here’s my opinion as someone who’s grown up with the game. A lot of the old player base is working now, or at least in school but it’s busy. The reason fortnite og and c5s1 were so popular is also because they were around Christmas time, which is when most people are off work/school/uni. It’s may 2024. We are in the thick of things school/uni-wise, and there’s no lockdowns to boost player counts either. Combine that with a lack of content and many people would pick doomscrolling for the 1 hour they have left in the day rather than play fortnite by themselves. Chapter 2 OG will no doubt have another huge spike in viewership, not only because of the content, but because the timing of it is so perfect for so many people.

I think there’s 2 things Epic could have done to make this season great: 1. buff Wings and balanse all the items this season 2. host more tournaments that every player have accessibility to like for example maybe like a skin cup with top 20k getting it or something

I believe they're focusing so heavily on uefn and these gamemodes to at some point make it impossible for the game to die. There's so many different modes that the casual players, by far the largest part of the playerbase, will always have something they enjoy playing.

I think epic is just delaying the inevitable. there's only so many events, collabs, maps, loot pools that epic can use to keep their game a float. Once they use up all of their ideas the game will become 100% stale and will die. This is why I think they are focusing so much on creative because they view it as their saving grace which might work, might not depending on how advanced their engine is and how much variety there is to it. FN comp is undoubtedly dead and who ever dissagrees with that is in denial. The statistic proves this time and time again, and coupled with epics lack of intellect for what makes a game good in comp is not helping them at all. Not to mention an absured amount of cheaters and D dosers who are literally putting a siege on a multi billion dollar companies servers. its honestly ridiculous. Epic clearly doesn't know what they are doing with their own game and they need to get their stuff in check before their actual game dies like the comp aspect of the game.

for me at least, everyone who used to be on with me which made me had fun is outside. like me and my friend were playing and got bored and just went outside and hung out

pleas Assuie i really wanna hear your thoughts on this nah it's really the massive fps drops recently in game and in ranked like yea ranked does do that but not its at an all time worse bro i cant even manage 144 😭like bro c'mon and the delay in creative maps like bio zw is just awful plus the movement whether u think its good or bad we can all agree that it isn't optimal its all we ur edit coursing or sprinting that it feels somewhat normal but as soon as u run out of stamina ur a sitting duck waiting to be killed and the projectile weapon i'm done i'm sick of using them they aren't bad but i don't wanna have to predict a players movement in the open just for some free dmg i could get with a hit scan weapon renovating the games core mechanics like running and the guns was the worst decision epic has made in a while some guns just do almost no dmg sometimes and omg don't get me started on why u cant edit normally when u have a knocked teammate or enemy near you its it so frustrating and just ruins the entire experience for me just trying to play good and like i said before about the mechanics its mediocre ok at best like yea its not such a bad thing but like omg its looks just awful watching my skin run like it has a jack hammer up their ass and it just isnt optimal the only way to make it work is by sprinting and that alone isnt enough for me to get over how garbage the movement is no asked for a change and it didn't need to be changed , the company literally quite literally had greatness and massive massive success in their hands just to let it wash down with chapter 5 and no matter what way u look at it chapter 5 has been nothing but disappointing from the very beginning it dropped the movement awful, guns awful, medallions got nerfed to the ground basically useless to carry 1 to get max shield let alone trying to get all 5 before dying or finishing the game item shop weekend stayed for 2 months with even worse skins alongside it and even not the item shop has been worse than it has ever been snipers were ok ig never has an issue with them uhh lets seee, (but like u see my point right nothing good has come out of this chapter apart from peterbot being the most dominant and feared player) just nothing to be excited for anymore and even the locker just looks terrible too Greatness: In the quiet hum of fleeting time, Greatness bloomed, a fleeting climb. I have stopped playing fortnite as much, but that is only because I like rl more rn. I still think fortnite is great and I still like the game just as much. However, right now I’m just having more fun in rl.

We got the avatar collab in BR which was huge, we got a new rocket league and festival season We got the star wars update, which was huge for lego, there was even a live event in lego fortnite.. Star was was mid for BR, and completly pointless and non existet in festival and racing imo.... we got 1 song a jam stage and just some quests in racing not even a single star wars themed track.. And the people complaining about the storyline ... SMH... This chapter the story has been better then past seasons... better then wilds for sure, and the time traveling vampire lol... This seasons story we have hope leader of the underground rebellion who wants a relationship with her sister valeriea. Who is a member of a group called the society who has control of the island. Valeria is hungry for power and searching for pandoras box.. She finds it and it gets opened releasing evil on the island... Zues gets angry and wants to punish man kind for opening pandoras box... now we are forming alliances in order to defeat zeus.... and the Orcale keeps talking about how one chosen mortal can stop it.. one last Hope ... hmmm coincidence pay attention before yall whine about the story.. clearly more effort and character development been put into this chapter then they have in recent seasons... people just too hyper focued on WAHhh Donald Mustard's story was the best, and just choose to nit pick any thing they can about the story... Like peely getting kidnapped, but hey he did make an appearance this season and apparenty the bannana holds reality together according to the oracle... seems like they got some focus on the story when ya really look at it..
