hey the vesc featured in your video isn't on your website instead there is another vesc called vesc-x. if i use that one will it do the same thing or are there things i need to kow first?

So if you buy a longboard that comes with 60mm wheels do I need new trucks for my 83mm wheels or can I just replace the wheels and not the wheels and trucks?

You desever way more credit than what you get. This is a great idea and it should be taking off soon. I know you have a huge market and a huge competitor (Boosted Board) but you are way better than them. In my option you should send Casey Niestat one because I think he would unbox it and show it off and probably ride it and compare it to boosted (but there is no comparing to do because your product is way better.). You keep doing you and you will go far.

your channel is awesome and i know your going to get many subscribers in the future, what makes your channel different is showing us how much work goes in to having your own business, and how informative you are to your audience and your customers, I actually purchased a VESC for the March batch but never received anything, sent an email and no reply, then i finally ran in to what happened on the forum, sorry to hear about the complications you ran into with this batch, being that your the only person having to do everything makes it difficult to reply to everyone, Hope things get better and i cant wait to receive my VESC :)

If I build a duel motor I'm guessing I will need to get 2 VSEC and can I get the enertion 2.4ghz controller to work with a custom build but using the enertion VSEC?

What a great video! I've spent the last 3 or 4 hours watching videos on your site and it's incredible. Up until this evening I was ready to part with $1,500 on an Evolve GT Bamboo but have been reluctant to spend that much on a belt motor board as it seems as though hubs will take over but NEED an electric board in the meantime and having watched this video have jumped on your website and bought the mono drive mech kit - I got it in your sale so thank you again for that! I actually have all of the pages open too in HobbyKing that you suggested and for another $230 i can buy the motor, batteries and remote. I know i still need the vesc but that's crazy cheap!! $520 and i have most of the parts (oh and minus the deck!)! What's cool too, is that i can slowly buy the parts and build the cost up gradually and my wife will never know!! :-D I'll hit the forums but would would be a good choice of vesc? I'm guessing the vesc-x would be the way to go right? Are the other options available? Anyways, regardless, awesome vid, I'll be sure to watch more and keep up the good work!!!

Love the ending. I want some of that nose and tail protection for my Raptor when Im not using it. Why didn't they ship the last batch like that last time. Must be such a relief for you. Can you do another vid of actually setting up the vesc and motors through bldc tool. Step by Step. Yourve done vids on the hardware and electronics, but my hurdle is how to get the vesc talking to motor at start. Theres vids on vesc settings to fine tune. Just think theres one step missing. Vedders vids dont seem to be as clear for me. Yourve very vids are you improving all the time.

Can I also buy 3 of those 3s LiPos you've shown (3 lipos in series), so I have a higher voltage and thus higher speed ? I'm new to this, I might aswell be wrong though lul.

Good for you brother! Please the people, and the business will come!! I have a question man..!? Can you tell me if "dampened light" ( blheli's version of active braking) is a good enough braking system for a board or do I need something like a castle creation's car esc with actual braking (CC has a GUI that lets you adjust the braking from hard to very timid but not as timid as dampened light would be) - I own both esc's one 60amp and the CC is for an 1/8 scale buggy so fairly high I'm guessing (~100amp) .. Also the suggested amp rating for an esc would be greatly appreciated! - the knowledge will be spread brother, thank you!!

Hi and thank you for your vlogs and tutorials! I am a beginner in this and I have been researching for motors to build an electric skateboard. Do you know why NTM Rotor Drive 600 Series 510KV is much cheaper than Turnigy Aerodrive SK3 - 6364-245kv in the page you show? By the information given in the config table in this page it seems to me that the first one is much more powerful and smaller. Am i missing any important point? Sorry for my bad english and thank you again!

Hey man really enjoyed the video and have a question about pre-made boards, i already have an evolve bamboo street electric board and have been loving every second of it, don't really need to say but its uphill performance could be better as it is a one wheel drive board. So my question is can you modify a stock electric board? something like upgrading it to a two wheel drive or replacing the motor. Thanks

What about the keyway in the motor shaft. I have followed your guide and it seems like you cannot just put the pulley on the harft because it have no keyway. Can you help be out so i know what to do when my order arrives ???

question, the motor you recommend has a 6mm shaft with no key slot. Your 12mm pulley system has an 8mm hole and key slot to match your motor. Amy suggestions? We bought the motor mount, pulley system and vesc from Enertion. Thanks.

I've built a drone before. The drone had ESC's but also had a flight controller. The receiver for the handheld transmitter on an electric skateboard build hooks directly into the ESC?? That is enough to have speed control as well as braking? What about regenerative brakes? Does one need a sort of "Drive Controller" to hook the ESC up to in order to have variable speed and or brakes and or regenerative braking?

You want to over take boosted boards? See if you can figure out a powered snow board. I live in Colorado and get snow a good 7+ months out of the year sometimes and paying this much money for a board that can't get very wet or work at all in snow sucks. Is it possible to make a board with a couple tracks on the front and a belt instead of wheels to ride in the snow?

+Marc Cawood My evolve board is pretty quiet but it does get progressively louder the faster you go, but it is satisfying to hear... like a car engine but not.
