@@MidnighterClub 30 to 40 years ago an Asian engineer designed a triangle wheeled bike, with rubber tires, and a mechanism to counter the up and down action that would occur with triangular wheels. I'm really surprised at all the negative comments on this one. A big part of inventing is having an interesting idea and then trying it out. Not every effort is going to result in the greatest innovation of all time, but all these cumulative efforts of tinkering and trying and learning and sharing and inspiring may end up doing exactly that. A completely sincere "thank you" and "hats off" to this effort!

Ive ridden dozens of bikes and not one has been this precarious and sketchy, turning on that doesn't look comfortable at all. if this was a commercial product, where are you gonna get replacement treads? from the manufacturer? the markup and delay compared to a traditional tried and tested bike is just not it. thought I think that this idea is inherently well executed just not something I'd ride for longer than 30 seconds just for the experience

@@malus1426 Not at all! I see a lot of honest opinions here that are framed as constructive criticism, and I have no problem with that, that's an important part of the learning and sharing process. But some are downright disparaging, and those are the ones that seem to be missing the spirit of the creative and innovative process. People can share honest opinions about how something turned out without tearing down the very important process of experimenting with new ideas in the first place.

Like the headline said... "Why did we do it? Just for fun." Thoughts become things, it's all part of invention. Would I do this? No! But I say "Way to go for trying something new!" Without trying, creativity would come to a stand still. I support the individuals that try.
