I hope you guys enjoyed my adventure in Daegu. I know 2020 has been rough, but let's hope for a better year..I've been getting mild depression lately and I needed a getaway like this. I hope you guys felt my energy in this one, because I really felt good for the first time in a while :D Thanks for watching guys

Daegu is definitely on my TO GO list when traveling is allowed again. The video quality is lit btw..new equipment? i also like the vibe - calm and comfy. :)

육개장은 대구에서 생긴 음식이오. 원래 대구탕이라 불리던 음식이... 일제강점기 초기에 전국으로 퍼진 것이오.

That Korean version of raw beef looked great! There's a Lebanese version called kibbeh nayyeh. It's seasoned raw lamb served with olive oil, raw onion and pita bread. Delicious! Happy New Year!

가요대전에 데이브가 왔었구나... 전 라이브로는 못봐서 몰랐는데 나왔다고 해서 놀랐어요ㅋㅋㅋ 그리고 꿀팁이 있는데 육회는 초밥으로 먹는게 있는데 그렇게 해 먹으면 엄청 맛있어요!! 꼭 드셔보세요!!

아... 근데 대구에도 이렇게 맛집이 많이 생겼나? 일하며 이곳저곳 겪어보며 느낀 게.... 대구에선 그나마 맛있었던게.... 계란후라이, 삼겹살, 삼계탕이었음. 폼나게 만든 퓨전 레스토랑 음식도 괜찮긴 했지만.... 감동 줄 정돈 아녔고. 반면 전라도 군산 갔다가 진심 충격. 늘 먹던 익숙한 반찬 하나하나가 미쳤더라고. 나물 싫어하던 내가 나물접시 전부 완뽕. 아... 이래서 전라도가 음식음식하는 건가 싶더라는. 뭐 암튼 오래전 얘기.

Hangovers get worse as we age. What helps with a hangover is oily and salty food. The oil helps lubricate your dried up throat and the salt helps with rehydration.

What the hell do they put on Korean food?! Dave's been there for over 10 years and his reaction is still of somebody overwhelmed by how delicious it is! I've seen this reaction from virtually any person who eats it, regardless of whether they've been to Korea or not. I might never be able to try it myself (as much as eating Korean chicken seems like a life-changing experience) but it's kinda interesting to know such food exists 😁

Drool. I wish I had the privilege of all this amazing foodage 😍 The beef looks incredible. Had a shit eating day yesterday though, so doejang-jjigae for my breakfast is in order. Also, unlike most foreigners, I am more than down to try yukhoe and tamago-gohan someday. When something is simply but perfectly seasoned then served with hot rice... almost no cooking needed. Just *definitely* not here in America, in their countries of origin instead 🤣
