Before then. Annie was in the background in Episode 1 or 2. It seems Sus that she was there so fast. They said they were from a remote mountain village.

It's apparently worse in the manga. They show an image of Bertholdt outside the wall right before he kicks it down and you can see there are only like one or two footsteps.

@@seanwilliams7655 it's kinda like Fight Club. At first you think there is something wrong with Annie and Bertolt because they're always so weird around Reiner. Well, I don't wanna spoil Fight Club but it's very different on a second watch. One of the characters isn't nearly as crazy as they seemed.

I never hated them even though you probably should. The power of humanizing them before the reveal. Before finding out everything, I had a feeling they were doing all this for a reason. I also realized that they were children too when everything went down. Reiner ends up being my favorite character after Jean. The real villain in the whole series is all the adults being totally cool having children soldiers.

I suspected Reiner was a titan from the scene between him and Ymir, which was overly suspicious. Because a few minutes later, we found out that Ymir was a titan.

@serko8318 yea that was confirmation It was obvious because he read the canned food and saw nothing wrong and then later he realised "oh wait", I'm not meant to be able to read this. He didn't expect anyone to be able to read this language so when ymir handed him the can, he saw nothing wrong at first but then later he realised he wasn't meant to be able to read it. The delay gave it away, if he was someone who couldn't read the language, the foreign letters would've stood out to him immediately like a sore thumb

@serko8318 aw man I think my response got deleted Anyways I said basically: Yea it was confirmation at that point because he didnt expect anyone else to be able to read the language so when he saw the can and saw that ymir's description was spot on to the words on the can, he didn't see anything wrong but then later after a bit, he realised he wasn't meant to be able to read this language. If he actually hadn't been able to read this language, he would've recognised the foreign letters immediately instead of the delay so it was obvious from that. And then ofc, as you said, ymir became a titan right after/ which confirmed that reiner was a titan. Also reiner immediately deflecting what Connie was saying gave it away too. I can always detect when someone is trying to do something slyly with an ulterior motive whether it be issayama or reiner lol like when reiner got captured and then annie moved right after, Issayama didn't just show that to show that reiner was reliable. Its easy to tell when there's an ulterior motive when there are lots of factors but the explanation they give is only based on a few factors. Like when Reiner told Connie that he was imagining things and immediately said that he didn't hear anything as if he knew what was on Connie's mind before he even said it hence why he was able to respond so fast. If he really hadn't heard anything, he wouldn't dismiss what Connie had heard because he may have heard something reiner hadn't but the reason he knew what Connie was thinking before he even said it was because he had heard the same thing Connie had heard. And then he dismisses it as Connie being crazy and "what are you talking about Connie" which seems all fine and dandy and whatnot but these aren't people who haven't seen what they're dealing with and are just talking about conspiracy theories about things that they haven't seen yet. All of them have seen titans, know they exist and therefore know that they all as a collective don't even know the surface about titans and yet Reiner dismissed Connie immediately, it doesn't make sense if he actually cared about maximising humanity's chance of victory.

Now they understand the difference 😂

Watching Reiner transform again made us realise like yhhh this titan look like him but when I saw that for the first time we couldn’t see that because we were so angry!!!! We are slowly accepting that his not a soldier again… even if it’s hard tbh 🥲
