Buying etfss is easy, but buying the right etfs without a time-tested strategy is incredibly hard. Hence what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist? I’ve been trying to grow my portfolio of $260K for sometime now, my major challenge is not knowing the best entry and exit strategies... I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day invt decisions being guided by a invt-coach, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using a invt-coach for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million

I think the easiest and best way is to go with SCHD - it's a dividend growth ETF that checks a ton of boxes. There's so many ways to invest for income, but in my opinion SCHD is simple and effective.
@Arnas_Valinskis
@Arnas_Valinskis 8 ай бұрын
@@-Fredrickyes, and schd is only available in US, so your probided suggestion is not useful since this channel is about EU. While VOO and QQQ growth etfs have some alternatives in EU, schd do not have anything close to it. Either you pay ridiculous 0.39 etf fee with lower div yield than original schd etf or you go on single dividend paying stocks and try to mimick it yourself.

What is your opinion on Vanguard VWCE? As it's the only FTSE All-World ETF available for purchase in euros, being based in Germany and considering I reside in Europe with euros, do you believe it's the optimal choice? Alternatively, could there be a better option available from Invesco? Maybe iShares like IWDE could be an option

I do have access to Stocks & ETFs, Schwab Stock Slices and Bonds but not the Schwab S&P 500 Index Fund. The customer service agent told me that international accounts are restricted from trading mutual funds with US. So, I hope you can help me. I would like to know what would be the S&P 500 Index Fund for the UK equivalent or similar. Thank you in advance for your help.

Can we invest directly into Index fund/stock S&P500 in EU? I have found that it is possible in the US (with a very low fee), but haven’t found any options in EU. 🤔 Or if I put in diferently, where can we invest to get the most for our money? @thetomcrosshill

Hi! I usually don't go into country-specific detail on my channel - I cover that in my training courses. One quick takeaway is that Ireland's tax situation is not the friendliest toward index and ETF investors so it's great if you can invest through a pension wrapper where the tax issue is removed. But investing in ETFs directly is also possible!

@thetomcrosshill
@thetomcrosshill 10 ай бұрын
I'm not a Swiss tax expert, but my understanding is generally that it's a bit more complicated - cap gains are tax free for most people, but not tax free if you are considered a professional investor - and there one of several criteria is the holding time for your investments (the 6 month limit). So if in doubt, one should always consult a tax advisor.
