Martinez? Specialist. Hingis? Unathletic and powerless. Davenport? Late prime. Graf had no opposition which is why she dominated in her time. All the players you mentioned were either too weak (regarding play style), inconsistent, or out of their prime when they faced Graf.

Martina was late bloomer but was unlucky to face peak Steffi & Monica in her late 30's unlike Serena who won 10 slams in her 30's against weak set of players. The likes of ASV, Pierce & Davenport were far superior than Azarenka, Halep & Kvitova. Peak Seles was far better than Henin & Venus. Mind you from 2003-07 Serena couldn't handle Henin ( 2-5 records against her). And BTW a 40 years old Kimiko Date on her comeback started beating Sharapova, Safina, Petrova, Stosur lol😂😂 shows that how weak the era was post Henin's retirement in 2008 to 2020 untill Iga' s era began. If a players like Wozniacki calibre ranked 71 weeks at #1 & Jankovic calibre of players finished as year end #1 that shows a weak era. Those players have no chance in Graf's era.

@@tambam6744 you have no knowledge about WTA so stop comparing players. It's Steffi who faced peak Hingis & Davenport not Serena. During Serena's era from 2002 they were long past prime. Capriati was absolutely peak in the 90's but due to presence of Steffi she didn't win a slam but later a fat Capriati 😂😂 won 3 slams in 2001-02 because there was no Steffi calibre of players anymore. During Steffi/Monica or Martina/Chrissy era it was more tougher to win a slam or to be #1. But from 2008 to 2020 it's far easier to win slams or to be #1.

@@einarsd4 Swiatek is by far the best clay court player in the world, and she won 7-5 in the third against Osaka on a surface she's not comfortable on. Must not be that easily attackable. Maybe you missed all the forehand return winners Osaka hit off Swiatek's serve. Idk.

@@aaron.y2k Osaka lost to Trevisan few months ago in straight sets, to Samsonova in 3 sets and to Zheng in straight sets on clay. So her forehand is no good. 1ga Swiatek was off her game and made so many to herself uncharacteristical mistakes that she almost lost this match, but she managed to finally steady her game and win that match. Osaka's forehands at the moment are weak for clay courts. Osaka didn't play good. Swiatek played poorly too.
