The potential exception is millet, a nutritious gluten-free grain, which may suppress thyroid function even in people with adequate iodine intake. 20 If a dietary recall indicates frequent millet consumption in patients with hypothyroidism, it may be wise to suggest they choose a different grain. Pls explain,as a thyroid patient how many times should i take millets in a week?

This parcooked grain rava can be used Directly for making idli dosa without soaking it for 6 hours ? And dough can be made without keeping it for 5 hours

This parcooked dried rava needs to be soaked for an hour before adding it to urad dal batter. Dough make with this flour for making chapati needs to be rested for an hour.

hi can you please make videos on how to make millet cookies and millet cakes. Can coconut sugar be used as an alternative for normal sugar? thanks

You can refer to our cookbook Paka Siri for biscuit recipe. Dr Khadar sir doesn't suggest usage of baking soda/powder in cookies/ cakes. That is the reason we did not make any biscuits recipes. Coconut sugar can be used.

I was not able to fry little millet poha or flakes in kadai .It got sinked in to kadai from filter

It is not a good idea to deep fry millet flakes as they absorb plenty of oil. Instead stir fry them. Take some oil about 2 tablespoons, add all the tempering seeds, peanuts, fried gram, coconut slices, etc. Then add the millet flakes. On medium flame stir fry them until they are done. We make it this way.
