A dyno pull would be interesting, I’m doing the same mods to my 2011 mustang and I want to see the potential hp gains. Other wise video was great!

Thanks fot the insight I'm looking to get the exact same exhaust and a bama tune. Do you think that'll still sound good or would you recommend getting the x back too? -Fellow Cam from Ohio (Cleveland Area) with also a black 3.7L 14 mustang. We have the same louvers setup too lol. I kept the decklid emblem tho and went for 5% tint for everything besides front windshield. Which i plan to get maybe like 35% up front? Idk.

Thanks for the comment! I think having the catback system may be too raspy at times, I think my setup has a little bit deeper of a tone most of the time

Have you considered getting 3.73 gears with your mustang? I was debating on getting it because I’ve seen a lot about the insane acceleration of it.

Yes, i think it is a good upgrade. I just haven’t found time to send my car to the shop

If you change rear gear, will need a programmer to adjust for the speedometer error. I went from 2.73 to 3.73, best mod I made.

Its worth it. 373s and MPT tunes made the biggest difference on my 3.7

I have another question I have been looking in to changing up the camshaft so I get that chop sound but I just read that the 2012 v6 3.7 mustang has 4 cams in it. I was wondering if anyone know if I have to change out all 4 cams to have that chopping sound or just 2?

I would recommend just getting a ghost cam tune. I don’t really know all that much how the camshafts in the 3.7 work and sound aftermarket. So I’m not the biggest help

@Cam3.7 I just need the exhaust tone from 1-3k rpm while cruising because it sounds nice and beastly, and so maybe I could get away with it without bbk Shorty headers as long as I don't go over 3k rpm, is what I'm essentially saying. I have the Roush Axleback along with a Roush CAI and so I wanted to get the bbk catted x pipe since I don't have enough for bbk shorty headers

@@mysticgaming7726 yes it will have a nice and deep growl still. So tone wise yes it will be fine, however loudness wise, it won’t be as loud

No, stock valence/bumper. I wasn’t satisfied with the different options unfortunately!

Longtubes are louder, however I went more for having a better tone, so I went for shorty headers.

@@Cam3.7 I own a 2014 v6 Mustang currently all I have is the pype bomb muffler delete axle back installed. I jus got my bbk long tubes yesterday and now I’m lookin for my x pipe. Been looking at different x pipes and im just tryna wrap my head around the right one before I make a decision. Been lookin at the same x pipe u got but on different sites because American muscle is all sold out but the material on the ones I’ve been seein are aluminized and I don’t know how I feel about that. What are your thoughts?

@@Rob_S197 most midpipes are different designs for your headers so whatever you get make sure it fits with longtubes only and not shortys. I think it’s a good idea to go with the full exhaust
