For this round I’d go TF. I like the opening of Layton, but after 2 hours I don’t like it anymore. TF is the opposite, the opening is to sweet for me, but it dries down after a couple hours and those dried fruits and spices come out more. Now, if it was Layton Exclusif vs TF, or Layton Exclusif vs anything, Exclusif would have won.

My friend could you let me know,what the longevity and sillage Of a perfume that one wears regularly stays and does it smell less and less appealing and potent the more I wear it infront of a New Nose,since I stop smelling it after a weeks wearing? Thanks brother,a fan from india.

6:04 I would guess that far less people have smelled Naxos than Red Tobacco but those who smelled Naxos definitely voted for Naxos.

I think what deterred more people from Red tobacco is the beastly performance,compared to Naxos. Don't get me wrong,my vote will always be Naxos, for that reason I mentioned

@@Roozy_Persepolis Or the off-putting opening. ;) I don't know many people who like it and if you have to get though 2 hours of this until you get the actually nice mid and base well ... not everyone is willing to do so.

Layton and Naxos, very difficultly. But I think, the result can be T.Vanille and Herod. Because they're more unisex than the other two. One suggestion, if you don't mind: First, ask if the subscriber has known and smelled the fragrances or not, than if they're known, have a vote one of them. Thanks, happy-healthy new year.

Ani straight slept on in this tourney and id be willing to bet most people never smelled it and dont own it. I own layton and Ani and Ani is easily the better winter fragrance

Tom ford is my favorite one. The layton starts off a bit too middle aged man at a nightclub for me then it fades into something very nice

I have 3 bottles of TF-TV, just incase they would discontinue the parfume. Love the fragrance, its the only fragrance i never get tired of and became my signature scent.

@@mrtechsoldiertm3280 It smells darker on a man's skin! I tried it on mine and tried it on my sister, dad and my mom! It's more vanilla-esque on my sister and mom's skin. My dad's skin, on the other end, it smells like a sweet pipe sticky tobacco whilst on my skin it smells like dark burnt caramel and it's so sticky! I love this scent so much cause it smells different on different skin types.

Have both Tobacco Vanille and Herod. Have not smelled Layton though. Not counting the fact that Herod now does not last at all, Tobacco Vanille to me is a finer class fragrance. So regardless of longevity, even if Herod suddenly had 3x the shameful longevity it currently has (from my experience just about 2+ hours,) still Tobacco Vanille's smell would be clearly above. Old plain popularity is a different matter though, so we'll see.

Ash do you know if spicebomb extreme is getting discontinued? Keep seeing a ton of people on a bunch of different reviewers channels saying it is. It would make no sense to me but stranger things have happened.

Hey ash, I saw Tom Ford cost azzurra on the signature line at my local Dillards. The juice looks completely different from the original costa azzurra. Would be cool if you could give it a sniff for us!

If you haven't smelled both fragrances I think you shouldn't vote. I personally don't. If I've smelled the frags before I definitely do vote. I understand there's no way to stop anyone from picking whatever they want but I really do think you should at least have smelled the fragrance in store or from a sample before you vote.

As someone who owns both Ani and Layton. Mental how Layton won. The voting system is flawed. They need to be more accessible fragrances if you're going to do it this way. Ani blows Layton out of the water.

He's done a designer fragrance version of this. Plus it's not mental how Layton won, it's hugely mass appealing, incredibly versatile, great sillage, well blended and smells amazing... Maybe if it had gone up against Herod I might agree with you, but it still would be 50/50 not "mental" or "blown out the water". The only frag here I don't own his Killian's Black Phantom and these results went exactly as I'd expect.

Ashton, I've read several comments by people saying Shades of Seduction is very similar to Layton. I bought the Discovery set and do find similarities. But, I'm not one of those who criticizes or hates just because there may be similarities between 2 fragrances. I love both fragrances. I'm just curious if you agree. Did you draw inspiration from Layton when you created Shades of Seduction?

Hi there. I am a subscriber and enjoy your videos. A little more the ones with your wife in them. She is funny and has jokes. How about the you give away the winner fragrance to one of your followers 🤩😍😊. The cheapest fragrance in this video is more than the monthly minimum wage for majority of South Africans 🥺 including myself. The way I get to smell these fragrances is go to chain stores and ask them to smell them 😬. Really would like to have one these 😁

Layton is better than Herod, but no where near as masculine. Tom Ford sits in the back seat. But why didn't you use Oajan? Its more masculine than Layton and delivers pretty much the same notes but is more complex than ALL the others in this video.

Herod is similar to a Timex or Fossil Watch and Grand Soir is similar to an Omega or Rolex Watch. More people have Timex or Fossil, so it doesn't shock me that Herod won.

Layton is overhyped. Tried it for the first time recently and wasn’t impressed. My Wife didn’t like it at all. Deal breaker.

Only got decants of the niches, creed all depends on what batch you get bit hit or miss ! Summer I like terre by Hermes but even that’s changed going by my last bottle 😒

5:18 that's because the Gent Scents fanbase is mainstream af. ;) I was so hyped for Herod and when I tried the first time I was just stunned by how generic and boring it smelled. The tobacco note is really fine but the rest? Synthetic Nutella vibe. Got a 10ml decant wore it just twice. Meh. How this can be the highest ranked men's fragrance in the community goes over my head. But then again there are people who think Sauvage and CDNI are the best fragrances in the world. ;)
