I really don’t think the point of this ought to be bringing into question the quality of a league. This is simply a man sincerely expressing his personal emotion in a moment that got to him. Can we not just, on a human level, appreciate just that.

From a Celtic fan….Joe was a guy who came up here and took everything in the club it’s ethos the fans the whole lot. He will be sadly missed a true Celtic great and most of important of all a guy who gets what we are as a football club. Joe Joe super Joe ✊🏻🍀💚

I was there on the day, had goosebumps. Very moving final day, what a way to bow out of a phenomenal career. Joe hart conquered England, then came north and conquered scotland. Legend!

Love Celtic, been in amongst the greatest ever games in Celtic park and can confirm, the atmosphere is electric, cant be replicated any where else in Britain europe even. Special stadium. Joe had the best experience of his life, we make hero's here . what footballs about not the money

Those pub League teams have won European trophies and got to finals. The standard currently may not be great but the world wide fan base is bigger than most big clubs from better leagues. If Celtic and Rangers were in the EPL they would be main contenders

@NNC93 no they wouldn't but they are in the top 1 in their league. A club is not based on their wealth. It's based on community and what it does for the people. Both celtic and rangers have as much if not more of those things than any of the top 10 in any league.
