Really enjoyed Martin's story of shyness and anxiety, some of the experiences he went through completely mirror mine. The only real difference is that the incapacitating level of anxiety remained with me until my 30s, and I'm only just beginning to "join" society in my 40s 😊

it also gave you a broken home. I am broke and overweight but I still have more peace of mind when my kids climb into bed with my wife and I on Saturday morning then your millions and muscles will ever bring you. If I knew I was gonna die tomorrow, I still wouldn't trade places with you. At least I will die happy knowing I didn't fuck up the lives of my children. There is no superman who can do it all. If you give more in one area, then you will take more in another. True wisdom is realizing your limitations. Maybe Arnold will figure that out before he dies.

I remember having dramas with the corrupt electricity crooks at NPower a few years ago. They who were actively refusing to switch the rented flat's designation from Business Rates to Residential Rates. NPower's scumbag credit controller manageress even attempted to insinuate a threat whereby 'energy supply could not be guaranteed' unless information was provided as to the identity and whereabouts of the landlord (who owned a restaurant downstairs on the ground floor of the building). Having to wait on-hold for over an hour just to speak to a human was outrageous but apparently not abnormal when dealing with such crooks. Ombudsman Services were absolutely hopeless at getting to grips with these NPower criminals, despite the Ombudsman having been requested to intervene many months earlier. Finally the stress and sleepless nights were too much for my partner who relented and allowed NPower to get away with merely switching her energy supply from Business Rates to Residential Rates. Despite the hundreds or perhaps thousands of pounds that would have been owed in compensation for NPower's threatening behaviour. I guess that peace of mind was her priority. Ombudsman Services' sent the final insult in the form of a self-congratulatory email declaring how pleased they were that the matter was settled thanks to their involvement (Ombudsman Services had done nothing but stonewall for months, ignoring deadlines for intervention, pleas for help and advice, etc). Proof-positive that Ombudsman Services were on the side of NPower and the other big energy firms. Liars and scumbags one and all!

This clown thinks eating bugs will change the weather, and he also believes in the debunked big bang… bran Cox jumped the shark, he’s been wrong about everything in the alt ten years. I saw him embarrass an 80 year old PhD meteorologist with his MTV crowd while laughing in his face… he’s disgusting and WRONG. And he still believes in AGW… 😂

I really wish self help gurus would stop talking about friends and being social. Read the room. Most of us are lonely and connection seems impossible now a days. This issue goes beyond social media and more so has to do with people now a days being vapid, superficial and unreliable.

Listening to any scientist other then Michio kaku about this topic is such a waste of time. Can these fucking guys stop talking about probability’s for one moment and maybe touch on the hundreds of credible military sightings and tens of government projects and thousands upon thousands of documents by government agencies talking about how there is something going on? ALL SAYING THE SAME THING. If we wanna talk numbers run the odds that nothing is going on but the fact everyone across all these over 100 years SAY THE EXACT SAME THING!? Yep definitely not worth checking out

With the wife out, dinner on the table and watching and listening to this (and your other podcasts) is just very relaxing and inspiring at the same time. So glad that you have an hour and more to really deep dive into matters, rather than just shallow interviews. I find your guests and your interviewing inspirational. And of course, James is a great person to listen to. Thank you!!

It's presumptive to say that there is no evidence for life besides ours in the universe, when your physics does not correctly predict how big or old the universe is. The conclusion is based on an assumption that alien life that we are interested in, should be intergalactic, and visually spectacular...If that assumption is wrong, then isn't it possible that our conclusion that there is no evidence for life, could be wrong as well?

Stevie is not the best managerial communicator. Would say Arne Slot has much more gravitas. If Stevie hadn’t been a great player he would never have managed a big club. But he was a superb player yes.

I agree with this. I find Gerrard’s tone and the way he speaks completely false. It’s like he’s putting this on to sound professional. He’d be better being more relaxed as a communicator.
