(G)I-DLE is on a hiatus since February because during February over 30 idols were accused of bullying in middle including soojin and a lot of them went on hiatus. All except Soojin came back back.Soojin case got complicated because a fairly popular actor in Korea supported the allegations which turned the public on her. Her company made her leave the group with no explanation (That company is the worst company in K-pop everyone will agree). The actress later even admitted that she wasnt even sure if Soojin was the one who bullied her and most of the evidence still shows that Soojin was innocent but made to leave the group because their reputation was being damaged in Korea. Even if Soojin acctually bullied someone the allegations weren't so serious for someone to lose their career due to something they did as a child when they weren't mature enough. The allegations were that she called them names and talked behind their backs. The group members were promoting solo in their own home countries and now the full group is back again in Korea and might be preparing for their first group activity since Soojin departure. Soojin was a master performer and the main dancer of the group and kind of the like member who took care of everyone. She is the shyest memeber of group and didn't speak much.

Also, yes, Soyeon does know her thing in rapping. She also produces G idle's title tracks and in their recent Album, Minnie and Yuqi also produced songs. Now, G idle has 3 member producers. They're really cool knowing that girl groups aren't that much into the producing scene and i think it's safe to say G idle is a self-made group (producing, choreo, stage design, etc). ALSO, Soyeon is now a mentor/judge in a recent survival show called "My Teenage Girl"

Minnie (Thai) indeed was an actress! She was in a Korean Netflix show called "So Not Worth It" with several foreigners in it. She still used her name Minnie in the series as a Thai student!

Soyeon is one of the only rappers in kpop who has this old school rapping style. It's because Soyeon participated in Unpretty Rapstar 3 competing with multiple other rappers who are full on hip hop.

The flaming mic part when Soyeon is rapping is definitely an homage to old school rap / hiphop! Soyeon was a rapper first before an idol as you may have guessed because of her background with Unpretty Rapstar and Produce 101. She also debuted as a soloist before debuting with (G)I-DLE.

I am new to your channel and try to watch in order for the group, yes Soojin is out of the group but she is currently still in a lawsuit supported by the company, hence although she is not part of the group she is still within the company and being supported by her, whether if we win the case or not is still unsure whether we can actually get her back to the group or not, a lot just talk about the company without really checking how it works so it do be best to try and dig through abit more to see more context. lovely reaction Soyeon and the girls are just so damn good!

Soojin was accused of school bullying. She denied it but Cube ent. decided to kick her out. It’s such a shame, she really was one of the popular one in the group and I really like her. I mean… it was in the past, everybody made mistakes as a kid. Nobody knows the truth, it’s a real mess…but that cube decided to kick her out, before we knew who’s lying, was a huge mistake of them. Cube were always shitty, since they kicked HyunA out, just because she was dating behind their back. We really miss her💔

My bias is Soyeon, but I love all this girls. I am so sad Soojin isn't in the group anymore, it is so incredibly sad and sends a terrible message about people being allowed to grow up and mature when she lost her place in the group for alleged bullying when she was 12. Yes, bullying is horrible, but she was 12 yo child as well; and often times hurt people hurt other people, if she was bullying people now, go ahead, but this could have been a great moment to show how she has grown and explain what was it that made her act how she did, if she even actually did that stuff... imagine she didn't even do shit?

Sujin had a controversy related to school violence. (At that time, there was a lot of controversy in Korea celebrities had been bullied at school in the past.) It was even more controversial because there were some accusers. But actually, that was bullshit, so people slowly started to understand it, but Sujin was already hurt a lot and it was so hard for her. So she left the group and left the entertainment industry. If only she didn't have all those absurd controversies and fucking haters Sujin must have been able to do well in g-idle and in the entertainment industry. People didn't even listen to her what saying. Eventually she gave up later. Because she thought she'd be kicked out anyway. And she left the entertainment industry. And only then did people find out that she never didn't do that. But what's really funny is that people who insulted her at the time say, "What do you do that she's not in the entertainment industry anymore? She quit on her own. I didn't know that well." I'm so sad about that.. she give up... but i understand that she had so hard time.. so.. she can't do anyting at that time... Anyway... In conclusion, what I want to say is... fuck you haters.

the reason why soojin isnt apart of gidle anymore is because seo shin ae accused her of bullying when soojin didnt, so cube entertainment didnt try to protect soojin from that lie, and eventually forced her to leave gidle. soojin disappeared since, but shuhua is hinting out clues on her insta bc soojin is her best friend. but yeah seo shin ae basically destroyed soojins entire career. she even admitted that she didnt know if it was soojin or not

Soyeon definitely took inspiration for her rap flow and inflections from the queen CL of the legendary second generation girl group 2NE1. 2NE1 were the first girl group to come out with the girl crush/bad ass/hip hop concept. All of todays girl group idols that incorporate this concept have been inspired by 2NE1, especially from CL. Even Blackpink who were called 2NE1 2.0 by the same label's then CEO. You should react to their songs including their debut song Fire, I Am The Best, Crush and Come Back Home. Sadly they were disbanded in 2016 but their music is still relevant today. Cube kicked Soojin out of (G)-idle because of bullying rumors that were clearly fake, even the "victim" said she didn't actually bully her but still Cube kicked her out like cube wouldn't have cared anyway it's almost like cube planned kicking Soojin out already in the beginning of her hiatus. I'm sure a few people have explained Soojin's situation but this is my girl so I'm gonna comment about it anyway. In 2021, a lot of idols got accused of bullying (most of those scandals were quickly dismissed/proven false) but Soon got the worst of it. She was the only idol I've seen who actually provided proof herself that she was innocent because Cube (her company) is useless. But k-netz are ruthless and they harassed her endlessly, now in 2022 they are finally acknowledging her innocence once it's too late. But basically, the scandal blew up and although cube said they would take the accuser to court, it never happened and they just kicked Soojin out. We haven't heard from her since all we know is that she's still labelled as an artist under their company.
