What I love is that practically EVERY scene has at least a dozen jokes hitting you non stop so if one joke fails there’s at least five other jokes that will make you chuckle.

I remember watching this as a kid and not getting it because I wasn’t old enough to have watched apocalypse now, platoon or Wall Street.

It's quite peculiar that Charlie Sheen secretly paid out of pocket on behalf of the producers to include his father in the movie and in this scene. Just because he REALLY wanted his father to be a part of this. His father didn't know for almost 15 years. And that's how we got one of the funniest scenes in the history ever.

This is definitely one of the best parodies out there, together with Naked Gun it made up much of my childhood :D
