We are beyond excited to introduce our All - New Ford E-Series Class C RV 2‘’ Suspension Lift Kit Named the "Getaway". This 2" lift is a subtle departure from the 4" & 6" lift kits you have seen us build in the past. The great thing about the Getaway Lift Kit is you are getting all the benefits of our 4" or 6" class c lift kits without a big lift. It's the perfect middle ground for a subtle lift and improving your Class C RV. The benefits to a WeldTec Designs lift kit for your RV are of course better handling, reduced sway in your coach, load carrying capacity and ground clearance. The Getaway comes with a new set of Modified Radius Arms, Lift Coils, Modified Ibeams, Fox Shocks in the front and rear and last but not least a new set of Progressive Leaf Springs that are made to the weight of your RV. We also completed the look on this RV by putting on the optional WTD - Black Out Package.

Is the new 2 in lift a Bolt-On solution without the need for welding? I know the 4 and 6 inch lifts require welding for the front arms.

This new kit is 100% bolt in using factory mounting.

Yes lots of info accept no mention of the spring retainer on top, my retain er doesn't seem to fit back in place, its off about 1/4 ", the bolt just won't find the threats? give a hint

Sooo happy to see that there are companies out there who are taking care of this serious problem with RV's! We decided against a Class C after test driving one! It was just as you said, like driving drunk all over the lane or like a ship in rough water... we hated it. Finding out we had to drop all that money on a rig that was going to need a few thousand more dollars thrown at it to make it ride right was just a deal killer for us. But you guys are awesome and will save a lot of good people who already own a Class C from that nightmare driving experience! Excellent!

I have a 2005 Fleetwood Jamboree 31 ft. It seems to ride pretty well. But watching your video makes me want to look underneath to check it all out, I would like a little more rear clearance though. Thanks for all the information

How about a video showing the 2008 ibeam swap with the modern front sway bar and links that I want for mine? I will be getting the Getaway package with a fox steering stabilizer in a few months.

Everytime you drop a new video I get more excited, can't wait till our 6'weld tec kit is ready to ship. I have found two potential installers one has asked if the radius arm mounts can be bolted instead of welded??

They can not be bolted they must be welded.

We just purchased a 2023 class C on the E450 chasis. It drives like 💩. So bad that we came back today and I'm looking into suspension upgrades, or switching the camper. Can you please send me a link of your recommendation to make this drive better?

Yes your payload will be increased. These parts should not void the warranty as other after market parts like sway bars, helper springs, air bags have all been added to RV's for decades. We are just the first to do it correctly.

I just made plans to get this getaway 2 inch package installed on my 2003 Ford E450 based class C Bigfoot 28 footer. I will be using a dealer in California near San Jose. Will they take the core exchange or will I have to get the parts to you to avoid paying the core charge? I’m heading east when done so if they don’t take it I can plan to drive by you to drop the parts off?

How will a (6”) LIFT affect the top heaviness that could possibly cause a rollover?

I’m ok with the front height, actually looks too high to me but the rear is too low. The rear springs are negative. The ride is awful on the highway. Lots of sway. Especially when traffic passes. I’m thinking of a steering stabilizer and heavier rear springs. 2” or 3 “ would be perfect. How much for the rear springs? 2009 Jayco Grey Hawk.

What was the total change in the rear bumper? I saw the wheel well changes, but did not see the rear bumper change. I'm trying to calculate the change in the drop needed for a flat tow.

love the idea, but it is just cost prohibitive! $7K is way too much money. I understand there is a lot of parts and labor, but wow! I just bought a 2023 SunSeeker brand new, and this is just too much to spend. Frustrating!

This is not my RV but we do have a Jayco Greyhawk 29mv that The Weldtec crew did an upgraded six inch lift, black out package, tires and custom bumper. I can tell that it performance has improved 💯! We don’t boondocking in places that you could never take a class c. We also had a video done with Jermey and it’s here somewhere! It’s our second home so this was a worthwhile investment!
