Best FREE Campsite In Moab, Utah | Arches & Canyonlands | Fulltime RV Life

4 ай бұрынThe number one reason to camp in the off-season is that you have the best campsites all to yourself, and this is huge when you live in the camper full time and need a good home for the week.
We checked the Campendium app and this was one of the highest-rated campsites with a ton of 5-star reviews.
To be honest, we were a little worried that it would be packed, but to our surprise, there was no one there all week!! We got so lucky!!
30 minutes from both Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park, this couldn't have been a better site.
50-degree weather and sun during the day was a much-needed break, but we're headed to Salt Lake City next week to find snow again!
Our rig is a 2023 Grand Design Imagine XLS 22RBE.

It's so true rain follows you in the desert. Even just one day driving through the Mojave Desert in 2015 there was massive rain and flooding they hadn't seen in years. All because Jack was passing through.

A mix between IOverlander & Campendium. We check the reviews and pictures to make sure we could fit our rig since a log of van lifers use it and they can fit anywhere. But both are great to find public land to camp for free

@@MackOnTheRoad thanks! What size is your trailer? I was reading 25 foot or longer prevents you from getting into some campsites bc they aren’t allowed. Have you come across this?

@@JTHAMMER12the trailer is 26ft. Then the length of the truck you have to account for too. Some campsites say “no big rigs” but a lot of the time we just look at pictures or reviews and make a judgement call. If I see a trailer in some of the pictures then we still go, but if someone says no access for trailers we won’t go. I’ll admit, there have been a couple campsites that we were probably a little bit too big for but I’m stubborn when it comes to an awesome view 😆
