on my 2nd pair of Electrolux first pair lasted a little over 20 years. Always worked very well and the new washer has a sanitize setting and the dryer has a steam wrinkly remover option so I love the new ones even more!

its been 5 years since I bought samsung front loader 5.2 cu ft and yesterday the drum broke. I called their customer service and they said it cannot be fixed and did NOT offer me a replacement or even a discount if I bought a new one. Will never buy samsung again!

The 6700 isn’t the 1st LG with an automatic dispenser. Unfortunately, the WM4500 was discontinued.

I've been looking at the lg 3400cw, but if you search on it, it'll say 5.2 capacity or 4.5 capacity. Can't figure out why.

I love your informative videos! I need a stackable washer and dryer that will fit into a space that is only 30" deep and 41" wide. We are tall and can reach any dials. Should we buy the LG Washtower or the LG compact stackable front loader washer and dryer separately and get the stacking kit or the front loading stackables from GE? They are all 2.4 Cu. Ft. for washing. We are moving the laundry 5' to the other side of the mud room and it will now be electric and venting would be added if we chose the stackable over the tower. TY

I like the WashTower...but you can do anything. Most Smart washers now conytrol the dryers anyway.

lg does not have service department??? either your lying or you haven't done enough research. They're called Direct Mobile Service Technicians (DMST) Now if there's none in every area you should say that... Wow. 👎👎👎👎👎

@@YaleAppliance1. I’m a LG service technician. I was just in a week long training seminar on the new heat pump washer combo with a technician who covers the Boston area. Where exactly & how many of them are they I couldn’t tell you. But you could always call & ask…
@YaleAppliance1

OK... First I think what LG is trying to do is admirable...However, the math doesn't add up. We now have 35 service techs just in the Boston area...and need 10 more for same/next day service. We cannot take calls from anyone other than our own customers. We are that busy...just for three stores. You have to cover Home Depot, Lowes, and Best Buy along with about 100 local dealers with zero service departments. Then you have the internet dealer from different areas (hows the damages, BTW) So let me ask a question: You have a service issue. What is your average time to complete it, from diagnosing to a customer satisfied with the repair. If I had to guess it would be 90-120 days.... I think if LG stays at it, eventually it will pay dividends. But the company will have to invest billions in nationwide service. Dont know an appliance CEO signing on for that long term goal...especially when they are paid in the short term

@@YaleAppliance1 If it’s not a actual LG employed tech we use contractors (ASC) in markets that they may deem to small for a large amount of technicians. Our state of service demands a 3 day turnaround from initial visit to completion of repair. Granted part availability shipping delays & reclaims play a part in this. I guess my concern is the misinformation being told about not having a dedicated service department. I’ve worked for A&E as well as Whirlpool. I truly believe you guys do a great job in your markets and demand for service drives the amount of techs a company may need. We run about 6 calls a day on average on cooking Laundry dishwasher & refrigerators. Certain areas based on call volume may not warrant more than a handful of technicians which I agree hugely affects customers service. But it’s the nature of the business.

Front load washers are stupid. I used one today, and waited and waited to see some water, but never saw it; and there was very low suds. However, somehow my clothes came out damp, but didn't even smell clean. The force of gravity causes what little water there is to go down. These machines are just plain weird. Everything is getting so weird in society.

They can't be any more stupid than the newer top load "high efficiency" washers. Low agitation and low water levels means clothes aren't even entirely submerged under the water. Clothes literally come out half clean. I have to literally trick the machine by adding additional water to the tub through an external hose. Then I have to agitate the clothes by hand to assure thorough mixture of detergent in the water. So basically, I am manually doing the washing machine's job. I wished I would've kept my old top loader high agitation washer and just fixed it on my own. But I thought the new and improved versions would be better. I was sorely mistaken. The search for a washing machine that actually does what is supposed to do, continues.

We are still using our LG front load washer (and dryer) after 19 years. No issues at all. It seemed so luxurious when we bought it and it still works fine. After watching videos and reading reviews we don't want to buy anything else now, not even LG which seems to have gone bad?

Is the lg 3400 a durable and reliable washer dryer set? I see a lot of ones locally here on Facebook marketplace with circuit boards gone. The fact they sell it rather than fix tells me it’s probably an expensive fix? I’m in Canada so it’s a lot more expensive here. Budgets are tight so I don’t really want to be pumping money into large expensive repairs. Durability and reliability are key to me
