A Frozen Shoulder is a debilitation condition that can take up to 3 years to resolve. Frozen shoulder (also known as adhesive capsulitis) is a condition in which the shoulder is stiff, painful, and has limited motion in all directions. Frozen shoulder exercises are usually the cornerstone of treating frozen shoulder.
In this video, I am demonstrating the Best treatment and exercises for a frozen shoulder. Always warm up your shoulder before performing your frozen shoulder exercises. The best way to do that is to take a warm shower or bath for 10 to 15 minutes. You can also use a moist heating pad or a damp towel heated in the microwave, but it may not be as effective.

my wife's 2-3 years of frozen shoulder was fixed by fixing her sitting ergonomics. she had gone thru tons of therapy/tcm/massage, but her pain recurs. until one day i noticed how she 'leans forward' sitting style(supporting her head with her hand and elbow) while having hours of meetings thru her laptops.

I have chronic shoulder/scapula pain due an accident I had in school and since than (6 years in 2021) I still struggle a lot with this pain and nothing works, and I’ve tried physiotherapy, went to orthopedist but no one was able to help me. I’ve been looking for exercises that could help my shoulder pain and I came across your channel and I’m so grateful for you teaching for free amazing ways to reduce/end pain. Thank you so much!

Thank you for these videos. They are very helpful. I am curious though as to what causes this shoulder issue to crop up so suddenly. I had it when I was younger, but recently, within the past couple months, it cropped up again and I am 65. You are right...I am having a hard time even clasping the back of my bra closure. It seems to be getting worse, but I am going to try these exercises.

Thank you so very much for this video! I did all of the exercises you recommended in this video using a broom handle. (I will buy a wood dowel over the weekend.) I waited to write my comment until, I actually tried your exercises... I thought I had a “impinged shoulder” at first however, l didn’t have the “Pains” you pointed out in your “ImpingedI Should Video” l watched that video first. It’s not easy for me to get on floor because of other medical issues. But, I managed to do it. I definitely think a thick cushy Yoga Mat might help a lot. Lol! I’m usually in pain because, l have TNBC (Her2/neu,) so having this shoulder pain was the straw that broke the camel’s back! (It’s extremely depressing being in chronic pain.) It’s been eight months and my physical therapist had me doing the same exercises that l did 19 years ago... When I originally broke my shoulder, tearing my Rotator Cuff and dislocating my shoulder. (I nearly cracked the “Glenoid” bone in half!) l have already had two surgeries and pins implanted in my (right) shoulder in 2002. After my first surgery in 2002, I dislocated my right shoulder five times in seven (7) years! Then, I had my second surgery in 2009, my shoulder was good for a while, not perfect but, my pain was tolerable. I don’t know what happened, I didn’t injure myself per se, but my shoulder just starting stiffening up and then one morning I could barely move my arm. With Murphy’s Law of course it’s my Right Shoulder that’s affected and of course, I’m right handed! I’m absolutely delighted that KZfaq recommend your Channel! I’m an American however, l live in Salford (Manchester) about four months out of the year. I let a lovely flat and travel all over the UK. l’ve been doing this for the last six years since l retired. I owed a Dessert Cafe and for nearly 40 years l was a Pastry Chef, l graduated from Le Cordon Bleu back in 1981. I mention this because, l have several (extremely painful) problems with different parts of my body mostly because of “repetitive motion”... I have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, bad knees and my right hip needs to be replaced and l also suffer from Sciatica. (So, I’ll be watching your Channel a lot!)

I had frozen shoulder 8 years ago. I have never had such excruciating pain in my life. The word agony doesn't come close to describing the pain. My frozen shoulder lasted 3 years and I've also lost some movement in the affected shoulder. I had to wear an arm brace for many months. The pain worsened many times a day that would drop me to my knees with pain in tears. I was told "we don't know what causes frozen shoulder". Also, the pain will be "uncomfortable". I guess trying not scare me to pieces but I am saying that was the most horrendous excruciating medical issues I have ever had.

Not a snowball's chance in hell you can do these exercises with a severe frozen shoulder. My range is 30° left arm and right arm is also still limited after 3 years of being frozen. Why are they always coming up with exercises you actually can't do if you truly have the injury. Sorry, disappointed.
@MiltonChiropracticClinic
@MiltonChiropracticClinic 3 жыл бұрын
I am truly sorry to hear that. I agree with you that many of the exercises shown on YT are impossible to do for anyone suffering with a frozen shoulder syndrome. That is why I start with the floor exercises as I think they should be doable for someone with a severe frozen shoulder. When you say “30 degrees”, which movement do you refer to?
