Max Frame Rate - Don't limit it. Why? You're just increasing your input latency G-sync - very slightly increases input latency so only turn it on when you are actually seeing a lot of tearing. V-sync - turn it ON in the game and OFF in the Nvidia control panel, which disables both the frame limit and the v-sync. Nvidia Reflex Low Latency - should always be ON + BOOST (Note v-sync will be greyed out and disabled if this is on, which is okay) If you are streaming or recording reduce Texture quality in-game. This will improve the visual quality of your stream or recording due to the encoder having to fit less detail (since textures are lower) in the same amount of bitrate, making the footage sharper and less blocky (though obviously with simpler textures since you reduced them). SSR - on any setting (even just LOW) can light up darker corners as it calculates light reflections slightly better. Go to your shooting range or crackhouse in Customs and see for yourself. But I don't think the benefit is enough to keep it ON. So this is personal preference. HBAO - what this guy said. MIP Streaming - use only with very low VRAM amounts. Like 2-4 GB VRAM (aka GPU memory). It loads textures into your GPU when you need them, rather than right away. But this uses more CPU, so if you have plenty of VRAM, turn it off. Sharpness - about 2.2 to 2.3 matches the pain killer effect. If you want your game to have consistent sharpness between NO painkiller and WITH painkiller, then use only the Sharpness under Graphics in-game. Don't use GPU sharpness and don't use sharpness from PostFX as those will STACK on top of the pain killer effect and make things even sharper which can become way too much. The sharpness under Graphics doesn't seem to stack with pain killer effect, so it keeps it more consistent. Also, PostFX will put load on both CPU and GPU. If you have a good Black Equalizer on your monitor, use that instead. Alternatively, you can play with your colors and saturation in the Nvidia Control panel which will not impact your performance like PostFX.

object LOD quality do a lot of things, but most important ... it render players/scavs at greater distances without scopig in (scopes have max LOD quality set), onepeg made great video about that.

Anything we can do to improve visibility besides postfx? I have occasions where I can't tell if it's a person or not because of how pixelated and grainy the game looks. I have your settings and at 1440p. I still have those moments sometimes. The only game where I have this issue. Other games I can spot people miles away before anyone else, but tarkovs texture looks so grainy and muddy. Would be so much better if it was clearer.

how do you deal with the memory leak? Just got a 5800x3d to take over my older 5800x. My fps is great now, especially on lighthouse and streets, but the memory leak is making the game f*cked on maps like street. Any other tips than to just restart the game every raid? PS: I am using 32GB 3600mhz

NCP settings doesn't matter at all with your 3080ti. Even the in game graphics settings make a small difference. Because when you reach those areas with high load, you'll only gain about 4-7 fps (highest vs lowest settings). Only the newest CPU's will change this.

Followed these instructions and done everything up to the part where you're in Tarkov and now when ever I load Tarkov my main monitor that I game on is going off and on every few moments, no warnings, no display error from the monitor just simply a black screen. Any idea?

I really like your videos, love your gunsmith videos. But sadly you are wrong about about the power managementplan. If youre in game the cpu will boost automaticly. The plan just makes the Cpu boost all the time even if you're not playing which just uses more power. It wont change performance . Everything else was spot on perfect 👍 sorry for my broken english lmao

Shadows quality on ultra/high if u have low cpu ussage - it can boost your fps Also if you have AMD gpu set your min clock for tarkov about 100mhz below your boost clock - this is game changer on AMD gpus, 1%low and avg fps will be significant higher

You forgot to explain about you "Game" settings tab where is the setting to use only physical cores, etc..

if your cpu is overclocked already leave the power plan on balanced. you dont want your shit 100% all the time when your not doing nothing. if you not overclocked high performance will only boost your cpu to the highest stock speed
