Exactly what I use, I went back and forth with the new daddarios but they don’t sound as alive as elixirs do

I couldn't use the nanowebs, it didn't feel right to me, but that was a long time ago and I can't pinpoint exactly why. Give the optiwebs a shot!

The difference is very slight, it’s really only apparent when your fingers start to sweat, but after playing them for a bit you get used to it and don’t really think about it too much. Im actually using daddario XTs now, and I like the elixirs better. I haven’t played Ernie ball in a few years so I don’t really have anything to share on that. Im thinking of trying the paradigms next.

I feel the tension is about the same, I haven’t been able to noticeably tell any difference when bending and didn’t require any truss rod adjustments either.

I know. I got d’addario on my explorer meant for drop tuning. It’s tuned to standard C 😂

I have recently been using optiweb 11-49 for drop c on an sg. The tension is perfect with no fret buzz, even on a 24 3/4 scale. Came from 10-52 nyxls. No additional setup required
