***About This Video***
In this best hair thickening spray review video, I am talking about the best hair thickening spray products that I love! Oribe Maximista Thickening spray, Aveda Volumizing Tonic and Aveda Thickening Tonic ! I am breaking down my favorite parts of these products and also giving you the cons (what few there are) for these hair thickening products.
If you are like me, and you love volume and hair that actually doesn't go flat and you have fine hair, then you most likely will want a hair thickening product to help hold style. If you are looking for a thickening spray for fine hair as well, then I definitely think that Oribe dry thickening spray and the aveda thickening tonic are great optoins for you and worth checking into. I know for me, hair products are crucial to my style, as since I have fine hair, it takes hair products to actually keep my hairstyles all day long.
As I talk about in the video, I have found that the Aveda Thickening tonic and Aveda Volumizing Tonic products work best when used together and I want to share a bit about why I am loving the Oribe Thickening Spray a bit better than the Aveda products.
My favorite high-end products right now exist in the whole \ Oribe dry line. It's just a GREAT set of products all around. I just love this hair thickening spray and how much grit it gives as well as it makes my hair look about 50x thicker than what it really is. f you have not tried the Oribe Maximista Thickening spray, you have got to! After my hairstylist had been using the Oribe hair styling products on me for the last few months, I just couldn't help but buy them all (more Oribe product reviews coming this month!). Again, I can't express enough how impressed I am with Oribe hair care as a whole.

I have used the Aveda thickening tonic, I bought a little sample bottle for $10. I was not aware of the combination of the other on and instead of running to the store and buying both of them to use together I will get the one you got at your salon. The thickening tonic is very very good and you’re right I love the smell. I will definitely buy it today.

I've used the Aveda Volumizing Tonic for years. My salon has just now started carrying Oribe. I bought the thickening spray and love it. I've used it with the Aveda Volumizing Tonic but maybe don't need to? I honestly don't care for Aveda's Thickening Spray. It doesn't come out of the bottle as a mist...seems to come out in spray clumps and is therefore hard to distribute. Will try the Oribe Thickening Spray alone and see how it does. The other thing is that with fine hair, I need something that promotes "hold." I'm a big fan of Aveda's Confixor for hold, which seems to work well with Oribe, and it comes in a very large bottle that lasts for a LONG time. My only complaint with Aveda's Volumizing Tonic is that the bottle is pretty small for the price. The Oribe Thickening Spray standard-size bottle is much larger...so I feel I'm getting more for my money, especially, as you say, it does the job of both. Haven't tried it alone yet but will.

For me Aveda feels and smells cheap next to Orbie. I used Aveda for years, but discovering Orbie a year ago, it changed my life. Orbie looks, smell, and performs as promised. Aveda there is always the famous " it depends " situations that used to annoy me. With Orbie, I always get the same results. I also have thin hair but mine is wavy.

I would love to know more about thickening shampoos! I have always been afraid to buy hair products on Amazon because I have heard that sometimes they are knock offs. Have you never experienced that with Amazon?

Don't buy off amazon then and get them from quality retailers then. Phytolium4 works very well for thickening and generally improving hair.

Oribe does have perfume. There are two scents. I think the black bottle is the best.

My favorite shampoo after many years of trying everything is Verb Volumizing. Pretty much use whatever conditioner you want with it. Also, Chi Keratin Leave-In Conditioner Reconstructing Treatment works well on fine hair to detangle despite anything that says it's too heavy for fine hair. It works really well for me. I'm planning to try Chi's leave-in mist that works on wet or dry hair. I have ridiculous issues with tangling during the day and can't wait to try the mist on my dry second- and third-day hair. I'm lazy about washing my hair...don't like to do it more than a two or three times a week. If anyone can recommend a fantastic hairspray for fine hair that actually HOLDS without making it dry and stiff...please share!

Real aveda products are not sold through Amazon. It's not real. Buy only online through aveda or from an aveda salon. I got a bottle of water and the other was filled with vo5 shampoo

@@siong9547 damage your scalp…? Your scalp is just skin. It won’t get damaged by a product that’s okay to spray in your hair. Fire and corrosive materials burn your skin. Highly doubt a thickening spray is corrosive.

My hair is so thin that I even don’t blow dry because I am afraid the heat might damage them. I really would like to add volume to my hair on occasions at least. Could someone guide me if these products have any side effects on the scalp/hair/roots as they are applied directly on roots .. how frequently should they be used.. and can I just put rollers and let them dry naturally after applying the product? Thanks in advance . I have not only thin hair but also have very low density . It really sucks 😭

Go and see a doctor instead of unqualified strangers on youtube... Dermatologist, hair loss specialist. Scalp Massage, proper diet, vitamins etc works for the body in full. Phytolium4 works very well for thickening and generally improving hair.

@@commonsenseaddict9000 true , that’s my last resort now . I am not experiencing hair loss or thinning yet. Just always had low density thin hair since birth. Hopefully doc can prescribe something to help my situation. Besides I have been diagnosed with pcod now , which has caused severe acne . Hoping for dermatologist to rescue me . Thanks for responding

@@roadhouse_blues8081 I feel your pain with the thinning hair! I'm 57, which I'm sure is part of the issue. lol I went to my dermatologist, and she's had me taking a Biotin supplement and washing with Viviscal shampoo. I think it's helping! Definitely go see a professional, and good luck! :)

Oh no!!!! Was it wet when you applied it? It needs to be on wet hair. I’ve never had that happen before. The Oribe is TOUGH to get a round brush through as you blow dry. It works amazing.
