Thanks for the Video! Apologies for butting in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you tried - Parlandealey Forever Young Process (probably on Google)? It is a good exclusive product for learning what to eat to slow down your ageing process without the normal expense. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my GF at very last got excellent results with it.

Hi Renee! Thank you so much for this video. I have been struggling with very dry hands for years now (mainly because of washing them often). I keep trying tons of different hand cremes, slather a thick layer of cream and put on my cotton gloves when I go to sleep, etc, etc. but all just give the "instant relief" but do not repair / hydrate the skin for a longer period of time. I am in particularly concerned about aging skin on my hands - like you said ... it is where it shows. I checked out Beauty Pie but was also wondering ... How do you feel about putting a drop of Hyaluronic Acid, Retinoid (e.g. from The Ordinary) or a different serum in my hand cream before going to sleep? Thank you in advance!

A trick I use throughout the day - after each hand washing, I rub a nice thick cream onto the backs of my hands only (skipping the palms). This helps to avoid that greasy, slippery feel as I go about my day. I just squirt the cream on the back of one hand, then rub it into the back of the other hand.

I'm not an expert, that's for sure; but, I have really sensitive, reactive, allergic skin and have recently started using CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser as body wash. I think it might be intended for the face (although I don't think it actually states that - that's just what I've usually seen it recommended for). Super gentle and restorative. I have also started using CeraVe Moisturizing Cream for body lotion. They're an inexpensive, accessible, drug store brand; but, honestly, I just use it because it's working.

I have eczema and I tried every hand cream you can think of. My top favorite non-pharmaceutical brands are Rituals Soothing Hand Balm, Laura Mercier Hand Cream, Bath and Body Works Hand creams, and & Other Stories Hand Cream. They do not burn as much as the other brands and they're good for a while if you are fed up of your nonscented cetaphil/aveeno/ cerav creams. I personally tried the hand chemistry and Kiels and did not like them, they sting abit.

I would’ve liked to see an option that was fragrance free.

I like the Cicalfate Hand Cream from Avene, it is fragrance free👍 The cream is very thick so if you don’t like that feeling it is definitely not for you😊 If you want a fragrance free cream there’s also the Cicaplast Hand Cream or the Lipikar Hand Cream from La Roche Posay (I have not tried these two but I like La Roche Posay a lot😄)

Sarah Nørvang Hansen Thanks for the recommendations. I will try these. I wash my hands a lot and fragrance irritates my skin.

Why treat hands any different than face and neck? Therefore I use Sunscreen, ideally with high UV-A protection. Every. Single. Day. Not just in summer. I want no age spots whatsoever. And of course I put what's left from my skincare including retinol on the backs of my hands. Severe housework only with protective gloves. Make it a habit and you'll see the change 💚

Renee, such great information, as always. Can you recommend a Hand Cream with SPF that is available in the US?? At my age I really need to give some TLC to my hands! Thank you so much. Love & Hugs, Mary

Thank you, Mary! A good one that's moisturizing would be Deborah Lippman Rich Girl hand cream SPF 25. Otherwise for long drives and greater protection, I would just use a nourishing SPF that you use for face or body.
