Halifax is still HRM and has been since 1996. It is a large municipality comprised of multiple previous cities and towns (Halifax and Dartmouth to name two). The area you are talking about is Halifax peninsula (pop 71,915) - which we usually just call Halifax. I only mention this because it may be confusing for anyone not from the area and since you’re using the population of all of HRM - you’re implying a much larger city centre. Cheers!
