I feel like seats and shift knobs were massively overlooked. A good weighted shift knob can drastically change the look and feel of your car. And seats I don't think need to be explained not perfect for every build but, can be a huge game changer in the feel and feedback and can look really good if done right!

Sound deadening is a must have for any car I’ve owned so far…helps with road noise, removes exhaust drone from the cabin and gets rid of any sort of rattling from a sound system

Dyed my whole interior last night took me 7 hrs and it came out decent… that was my favorite mod can’t stand a tan interior

Weighted shift knobs (if manual) and steering wheels, along with seats are the best interior mods hands down.

Tint is a life saver! My car had window tint installed on it when I bought it. It’s dark enough to keep out sh*tty super bright LEDs at night and making the car look a lot better while also being light enough to see out of and I’ve never had a cop pull me over for it (yet). Some other things I did were: RGB LED footwell lighting LED Interior dome lights OEM original cd changer head unit to replace the single disk unit (I have a lot of CDs, don’t judge.) I’m planning on doing after market speakers and getting some OEM stuff out of junk yards that my car didn’t come with. Love to support a local business btw!❤️

P3 Gauges is a must have for a gauge! Super clean look and a ton of usability.

I added m3 paddles(better feel and cluster visibility) , the m3 merino leg bolster amd extended merino armrest (moar comfort) amd the extra interior illumination my car didn’t have from both earlier amd later models for more fun. And match up7bmw amp and sws replacement subs for better dsp and fidelity. HighLy recommended mods for any f30 or f31. Plus I changed the trim to later model anthracite wood because I like it! Finally I added the speed limit feature to see those on the HUD and some custom coding for windows close amd hatch close from remote plus the extra USB port to have videos on the display when ever I want.

I have a 10” pioneer sub and it’s great. Highly recommend

Im currently getting set up to do Merc inspired, fiber optic accent lighting in the doors and dash/center console. After that is complete, I may tackle a fiber optic Stary headliner.

starlight roof led mods are getting more popular. saw it at a meet the other day, looks pretty sick.

For me it's CF/Leather steering wheel, CF/Leather shifter, CF door/dash trim, and sport/racing seats. All the things you constantly touch while driving.

I like coloring interior panels (carbon fiber, black, matte colors) bold finish. I think it was said previously but steering wheel upgrades are nice. Also like you had stated in the video, aftermarket seats look good in my opinion

In two of my cars I installed a 10" screen Android head unit. Chinese made but they've been flawless and inexpensive for what you're getting. I love the fact that I can run my flash tunes, gauges, steam different services from music to movies, KZfaq to listen and watch Fitment Industries videos (while at red lights or parked of course) and a multitude of other apps. One of my favorites is watching my home security cameras while driving to make sure no one is messing with my cars or house. Sound quality used to be crappy on earlier units but now they sound great! Watched a few videos where audiophiles out these units on a bench test and they were extremely impressed. Having a 10" display on your dash in factory location really does a lot for your interior.

Carbon fiber steering wheel should be one, with upgraded bolstering and an overall better feeling wheel will make your spirited driving feel much better.

I run a 7.5 Gen. Accord EX-L V6 6MT, and lately online I've been seeing a lot of DIY Rolls Royce-style Starlight headliners that people have been making for theirs using lots of fiber optic strands. That's a sky high goal of mine, cause I am starting to get the Accord-ioning of my headliner, and that shit be saggin at 200k like a pair of Jnco's in the 90's...

LED lights when done right. Had led strips behind the speaker covers that flashed with bass. It always got a smile from ppl

I gotta recommend cleaning the interior, and LED dome lights. Seats make a huge difference but it’s not worth the money for a daily driver imo. So expensive for a decent set, no wonder everyone runs braum lol

I like to get the chrome/black metallic tips for all my window switches. It’s $5 from Ali & it makes the plastic windows/doors a lot more finished/refined, only thing metal in my interior backseat are those tips. All weather floor mats keep your OEM carpets brand new. 5% tint is my favorite & worth the risk since it adds so much privacy alone. You can (I don’t) spark a doobie & the cops won’t see unless you open a window.

getting a service to make sure you car is healthy and ready to mod, also floor mats are cool too, some nice diamond stitching or some carpet from a nicer model for instance type r carpet liner on a gsr or ls isnt rice and looks nice

Something a lot of people overlook or over-complicate. Cloth-leather seat upgrade. Like an OEM+ thing. Most car seats are pretty easy to re-wrap yourself and can be a lot cheaper than buying used OEMs in good condition. A lot of cars the only difference is the material so you can yank the covers off your cloth seats and replace them with leather over the course of a couple hours for the whole car.

But, FEELING the BASS of the music is "Almost" as gratifying as the Exhaust Tones, but BASS is only "Mastered" if there is sufficient Sound Deadening, and as long as the Rear License Plate doesn't rattle like a "Bag of Marbles"!

If your car is a base model or close to a base model and has cloth and you can find a higher model and it has leather is a good mod, since it’s a direct bolt in as long as it’s the same car/chassis. Or trim pieces like black plastic to woodgrain or carbon,etc

Wrapping interior pieces is vinyl, wrapping your headliner in alcantara, diy starlight headliner, custom lighting, floor mats, seats, steering wheel, shift knob, shift boot... etc

If we're talking about builds this is what I have going on this year. In Febuary I'm manual swaping mine from a 4 speed auto to 6 speed. I did buy aftermarket gauges but they're one a 12-16 week backorder so I'm not getting them until March. I'm gonna try and get the paint and body work done to it next. I bought a 5in ducktail spoiler for the car, a 2.5in cowl hood, and an aero kit, it also does need some other body work. The panels aren't lined up properly and the 36 year old paint isn't in good condition. After that I'll finally put the louvers on the car that I've had since last year. Other than that I don't know where to go afterwards. The front suspension is all brand new but the rear isn't. I'm still rolling on factory wheels, and my engine is stock. I got a sbc 305 and I'm thinking of either doing a top end rebuild on it and make a little more power and enjoy it for a while, or swapping it out for a 383 or 434 sb.

Door panels, im not 100% sure if it applies to all cars but i have a 1977 datsun 620 and putting in my door panels was the best interior mod i could’ve done, they look sick and it took like 20 minutes for both doors

Got pull over with a fix it ticket for my tinted windows in Cali.. Removed the tint next morning, brought it to the police station, officer was pissed that one of his officers gave me a ticket to waste his time to check it, and took it back the same day to get it retinted... About a 130 process .. I can live with that.

Maybe if you want to be fancy, do some fabrics like headliners which are easier in older cars. Or door panels or seats if your brave, I know a it’s a nice feeling to see all the the interior fabrics pop with a color color.

Maybe some Tach inserts or updating your tach lighting/customizing it to maybe match the colour scheme of your car (am about to do this myself). There's plenty of options from normal printed inserts to plasma etc, and many companies doing vehicle specific ones with preset or custom designs. Also there's about 5 billion different choices of replacement lighting (mostly different types of LEDs, couldn't even find the normal bulbs for my old Civic for a decent price lol)

Simple but that can be long if you do it yourself, get a leather cover that has to be sew for your steering, made the whole driving experience really different. Especially on 10th gen civic that has the cheap non-leather steering that feel like foam...

I live in Cali and technically it's illegal to have front side and windshield tinted, but I do 70's on them so it's only slightly noticeable (enough to block out the brightest bits of the sun) and 50 on the back.

Hard to find OEM parts. My 5gen Prelude had carbon fiber interior pieces from Honda you could get and even wood ones in over seas markets. My dad's 91 CRX and other late 80's and early 90's Civic's, CRX's and maybe some Accord's had optional center console/storage compartment or even cup holders

I have a 370, oil temp is a needed one. Glad it comes with a crappy one.

I can't speak for all states but in Flordia, window tint laws were put in place because too many police officers were getting shot through windows. So the laws are in place for reasons.
