I could wear them all since I wear jeans daily with a tee. Although I'm seeing skinny jeans aren't disappearing and I'm on the hunt for a new pair because I pair them with oversized tees. In fact, black skinnies are making a come back in street wear. I see the black on black trend even stronger (street wear) than last year. Last summer was my first time wearing "summer black" and I'm fully on board now.

So helpful I’ve been thinking about trying some wide leg jeans because I’ve been feeling top heavy when wearing my Levi’s straight legs with my cardigans. Going to go out and try on a few pairs with my favorite cardigan.

Give them a go. I always thought they would look wrong on me but they balance out us too heavy gals so good. Just make sure you balance them with a tighter fitting top x

I’m an apple shape (albeit a slim one) and I find it very hard to find jeans if they aren’t stretch. If they fit my waist comfortably then the backside is flat and baggy 😢. I’ve recently found stretch wide leg crop jeans that have flat front pockets (reminiscent of the 70s) and I love them! They sit lovely and flat across my stomach and are high waisted. Crop works for me as I’m short but they come in regular lengths also.

I’m So glad you’ve found a style that works for you. Those 70’s ones are fab but don’t really work on a big belly like mine as they add bulk where I’m biggest but I do love them I just admit x

Hello Marleen, can I ask a question I apologise if this sounds ridiculous. Is your body shape always going to be the same body shape it doestn matter if you gain weight or lose weight? I mean if you are an apple shape at 90 kgs are you an apple shape at 60 kgs? Love the jeans videos girl, thank you so much for the advice. Love the first pair, love the cargo jeans, love the jeans combination and white top, clean cut, versatile and timeless. Thank you as always beautiful lady, for the work in each video xxx

This is my personal opinion hun… no I don’t think so.. I think you will always be an apple if your an apple or a pear if your a pear BUT when our weight changes our curves fill out or lessen. Some will gain/loose more weight in some areas when can then change the appearance of your shape. But you won’t change your natural body structure, so if your an apple like me, I won’t all of a sudden get a Kim K booty and a flatter tummy. My booty may fill out more but as I naturally gain in the belly that’s where the main gain/loss will be. I hope that makes sense hun and many thanks. It’s my pleasure xx

As for Kim K booty and flatter tummy, it would look ridiculous on me, the curves are where they are, no denying that! I am embracing the apple shape and loving it. Thank you for this Marleen I have a big belly no bum very skinny legs and thighs and am 5" 1" can never get jeans to fit me all are way too baggy in the leg and thigh if i get them to fit the belly area i might try some of these though !!

Might be worth a try hun. I too don’t have much back side so I hear you hun, too much fabric in one area but not enough on other places. Try the ones with high stretch and then size down. Do please watch the videos on shopping on shein that I linked in the description box, if you need help ok xx

Wow, every item I have bought from them were well constructed and are still in good shape. Tee's, leggings, swim wear, shoes, Pj's. I'm on the larger side, js.
