I am *not* convinced that cats are domesticated. They don't see us as owners, they see us as staff. Expendable staff. Jordan needs to carefully apologize to Harvey and never repeat the offense.

my dad also HATES the lights on in the car when it's moving, but he even wouldnt let us have it on the setting where the light turn on when you open the door so you can SEE WHERE YOU'RE GOING. I think it was something about the battery? but now he's mellowing out a bit and we can have the light on when going in/out and if necessary while driving though you can feel the disapproval in the air.

As a person who has 3 cats all with vastly different personalities, 1 thing is constant with all of them. Don't screw with their food. Don't suddenly change brands, amount, or feed times. Not only are their systems easily thrown off & can possibly cause real health issues. But cats are evil geniuses if unhappy.

My dad didn't let us turn the light on in the car at night because he was concerned about the Klan and didn't want people to see inside. Maybe that's why he told you it was illegal. I still don't turn on my light unless it's necessary. I don't like anyone looking in while I'm driving.

it can be. my friend said (at least in the state we live) that if the light impedes your visibility it's a distraction and therefore illegal but if its on and you can see and drive fine then it's ok
