I also like the fact the plates can be used for the Ironmaster adjustable dumbbells, too. I don't own any, but I'll keep that in mind.

I've been interested in buying an adjustable kettlebell for some time. The heaviest regular kettlebell I have is 30 lbs. I'm not quite ready to buy a heavier one than that. So, I've taken the time to check out reviews. Today, I found an article from 2016 reviewing adjustable kettlebells. Many don't cost very much, but I would stay away from those. I checked the Ironmaster one, found comments on forums. Nothing negative, only very enthusiastic comments. So my mind is settled. I will probably buy the 57lbs combo at first. When (if?) I decide to go to 80, it doesn't cost that much, compared to buying a regular 80lbs kettlebell, that's for sure. I hope your video gets a lot of views. It's really great, you take the time to explain it all in detail. Thanks!

This is one of the most detailed videos on the IM kettlebell! Many exist on the adjustable dumbbells but not as much on the kettlebell. Thank you for taking your time to explain the change and seeing them live in action. Debating between IM kettlebells and dumbbells or FAST Pepin series kettlebells and dumbbells. Do you think the speed of changing the plates from dumbbell to kettlebell would demotivate you to skip exercises ever?

Dom, how does that thing handle compared to traditional kettle bells? I like them for swings and shoulder press, I thought about picking up a couple for home use but this seems like a sweet set up.

Debating between this one and rep fitness adjustable kettlebell

I'm hoping you see my question here and that you'll reply. I was wondering what the smaller dumbbells are that you have on the floor besides the Bowflex 552. Are they also adjustable? Are they also Bowflex? I was honestly hoping for a smaller set with less weight. It seems the sets I have seen are quite loud and the weights bang together making noise. I'm quite the weakling and was hoping to find something as easily adjustable and as silent as the Bowflex 552 but not as large. I keep night hours and my roommate doesn't. So I need silent adjustable weights. Plus when I'm in pain while working out the noise would just irritate me. Everything irritates me when I'm in pain. I wish Bowflex would create a more narrow set for weaklings like me. Of course I'd love to progress to heavier but I'm still not sure I like the idea of the dumbbells being so wide. I did understand in another video that you suggested the block style is more narrow. Personally I'd like Bowflex simplicity and silence at maybe a Max of 25 lbs total weight, shorter dumbbells and smaller increment increases. Baby steps. If you know of such a product please let me know. If not, it needs to be invented.

Hey Keith! The handle was designed to be contoured to feel as if it was a regular kettlebell. They actually tested a good amount of shapes to make sure it felt just right. As far as the swings, the cleans, the presses and all other things a kettlebell is, this thing is solid. Clever design with the fastening system. No shaking weights. Takes about 20 to 30 seconds to add or take away weight, which is just about the right amount of time between intervals. I would just make sure you buy the right combo for you. IE: handle only, 57.5 lbs or 80 lbs. Hope this helps! Let me know if there's any other questions.

How do the plates feel against the forearm? Do the weight plates have rounded edges or are they a little sharp? Curious as to how it feels while doing snatches/cleans
