But pike they should have their own category coz everything is just Gfriend's concept. Almost all their songs gives Gfriend vibes. Moreover they have their own sound which almost every producers of Gfriend use that sound and mess around with genre, that's why Gfriend song would be better to have their own category that's how much unique they were or are.

It annoys me because the word CA is so misused, and the ones complaining aren’t even part of the culture themself. I looked into it before judging and talked to so many native Americans and they said there was nothing cultural about what she did, and there are even debunking theories made by them, the ones who actually have the right to speak about this. A good example of actual NA CA was when Jihyo dressed up as a Native American for one of the dances and called herself Indian jihyo (no hate to her, I just wanted to give an example).

SM has honestly mastered experimental. From Zimzalabim to IGAB to Red Light, it’s messy, but it just works. I don’t think I’ve ever been fully disappointed with an SM group’s comeback.

imo SM has been very experimental SUJU - big groups with idols great at variety shows Shinee - raised the difficulty level of choreography for groups SNSD - big girl groups can work F(x) - experimental, a more feminine version of girl crush that isn't as "aggresive" as 2NE1 EXO - a main group that splits in two to focus on korean and chinese markets. NCT - massive group of rotating/increasing members and various sub units (kinda AKB48-ish) AESPA - the virtual counterparts

I just love that even tho (G)I-DLE can totally own concepts like hip-hop, more latin inspired and "summery" ones when they do something more detailed and unique is just so them?? Like Hwaa, OMG and Lion those aren't concepts you can easily describe even the "aestetic" here I feel like it leaves so much unsaid. All of this concepts are actually a lot of great ideas put together, which is why they seem so refreshing to me. Like in Lion there's this whole jungle and wild theme but it's combined with a royal one too, in OMG it's demons and angels, true and lie but the story is quite complicated and then there's also the gay in that song and then Hwaa was like fire, winter and spring/flower all in one. Plus knowing they help a lot in creating these concepts and sometimes they are even based on them makes it even better. The category here really is :(G)I-DLE. They don't just do concepts, they own them.
